Brunching with Bae: Romantic Spots in Houston for a Brunch Date

April is National Brunch Month. Get in on the celebrations by planning a brunch date for your sweetheart. Houston has several great spots for an incredible brunch. Here are some of our favorite romantic brunch spots.

1) Little Hen~ Boutique Brunching

Little Hen is a haven for couples looking for a blissful brunch. Little Hen’s floral decor sets the ambiance for a romantic brunch. We LOVE that Little Hen knows we need brunch 7 days a week, not just the weekend. The menu is amazing with lots of delicious options. We love the Braised Short Ribs Egg Benedict, Rose Petal Pancakes, and Cuban Bagel.

2) Mo Brunch & Brews~ Vegan Brunching

Mo Brunch & Brews is a great spot for a National Brunch Month date with your sweetheart. Mo Brunch & Brews serves an incredible vegan brunch 6 days a week. They are closed on Mondays. The menu will wow you with a wide variety of dishes to satisfy any brunch craving. We love the Pancake Flight, Chik’n Fried ‘Shrooms & Waffles, and the Coltrane Croissant Sandwich.

3) Snooze~ Retro Brunch Bliss

Head to Snooze with your sweetheart for a brunch date that blends deliciousness with a touch of retro charm. Snooze serves brunch all week. Snooze’s menu features all the brunch favorites like omelettes, pancakes, French toasts, sandwiches, benedicts, tacos, and more. We love the Pancake Flight, Crab & Asparagus Omelette, and the Strawberry Martini Mimosa.

4) Lucille’s~ Southern Brunching

If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with a little extra Southern charm and hospitality, head to Lucille’s. There’s only one problem with Lucille’s brunch, it’s only available Friday-Sunday. The menu has an excellent selection of Southern inspired brunch dishes. We love the Oxtail Omelette, Boudin Benedict, and the Shrimp & Grits. For a sweeter option, don’t skip out on the Croissant French Toast.

5) Bosscat Kitchen & Libations~ Weekend Brunch Wonderland

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations is a great spot for a weekend brunch date with your sweetheart. We desperately wish Bosscat would extend brunch service to 7 days a week, because the brunch menu is just too good. We love the Donut Burger, Fruity Pebbles French Toast, and the Short Rib Chilaquiles. Make sure to order a Bosscat Bellini!

6) a’Bouzy~ Elevated Weekend Brunching

For an elevated weekend brunch experience, plan a brunch date with your sweetheart to a’Bouzy. a’Bouzy has a great brunch menu. We love the Corned Beef Brisket Hash, 18 Hour Braised Pork Belly & Eggs, and the Blackened Shrimp & Cheesy Grits. For your sweet tooth, try the Sour Cream Coffee Cake.

We love brunch and brunching with your sweetheart makes it that much better. Enjoy celebrating National Brunch Month this April at any (or all) of these romantic spots in Houston. A brunch date is a great way to say “I love you a brunch!”
