We came for the oyster promotion and found that there is a limit of 1 dozen oysters were at the promotional price and additional orders were full price. It would have been nice to have seen that disclaimer on the promotional ad. The foos was tasty but service was really slow.

I have been to A'Bouzy a few times. Mostly brunch, one other dinner besides the most recent one I had on Labor Day 2026. I understand it was a "slow" day, but I was turned off by the whole experience. The risotto was drenched in water and it tasted like flour-they had not toasted it properly and obviously didn't stir it as much as risotto needs to be stirred. It was comparable to a soup and it was not able to just "stand" as a good risotto should do. I had 3 bites and sent it back. I ordered some duck fat fries and they were drenched in oil. This usually means that the oil was not hot enough when they fried them. I ordered the close-out special of Bollinger and I appreciated the value in that. Our server was apathetic to our table. I get it, everyone is tired. But, c'mon have some decency to show some manners. I asked her a couple of times for things and it was extremely slow, so I did not understand why I had to remind her 2 or 3 times. Everyone from the hostesses to the food runners looked miserable. I hate that I have a degree in Hospitality Management and I am a hospitality consultant because I notice every little thing-even the cadence of the service. It's tough times out there-so, it's not in the restaurant's best interest to push away customers in this economy, but that is exactly what they did. The owner and or manager was probably off (rightfully so), but it doesn't give the rest of the staff an excuse to drop the ball. I can imagine that the restaurant didn't turn much of a profit, if any that day- as it was so slow and the server was NOT trying to upsell us a thing. I was looking forward to hearing ANYTHING about the menu. I actually like that sort of thing. This is now turning into one of my reports. Please try harder, A'bouzy! I want to go back and it not be at brunch-I'm too old for a drunken brunch!

I love a'Bouzy. Stopped in for brunch and stayed awhile. Each table is given a bag of popcorn to enjoy while you look at the menu and decide what to order. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for me and beer for him. They sit the bottle inside of an ice bucket near you, and then make frequent visits to see if you need to be topped off. I loved that. If you order a bottle, be prepared whenever they pop the top to yell real loud "a'Bouzy!!!!" Fun times. The firecracker shrimp were amazing, and the crab avocado salad will have you coming back every weekend.

Had brunch here. It took us 20 minutes to be greeted once we were sat. I asked a server who was supposed to help us and she reluctantly did. The food was cold. Maybe it was a bad day but it just wasn't a good experience

I normally don’t write negative reviews , but this time I have to. I invited a few family members for brunch today Dec 22 at Abouzy, they were from out of town for Christmas. After an hour the waiter came to our table and started to take the food , plates , cutlery off our table, he came to our table every five minutes asking if we are done..?! We told the waiter many times, we are still working on our food, we were disturbed many times..all of a sudden the restaurant manager came to our table and took my sister’s plate off the table with a very aggressive move, they were obviously trying to push us to pay and leave asap!!!- I understand the restaurant was busy, but I didn’t expect this disrespectful treatment by the staff of the restaurant, I was very embarrassed in front of my family , after I paid, I talked to the manager expressing my concern and told him that I was very unhappy with how we were treated . I don’t think I will ever go back to this restaurant again.

Visited a'Bouzy with my gal pals several times. I love the decor, the service, and the menu. You felt that welcoming charm, and it's a great place to bond with family and friends.

It was a birthday dinner for my wife, hosted by her son and his girlfriend. The beet salad was sublime. I'd drive from Kingwood to get a to go order of it. My wife thinks beets taste like dirt. Dining out is my beet thing.

The beef ribs paired perfectly with the red wine, and the waiter was polite and attentive. The dining environment was very comfortable. I came to try this restaurant after reading the reviews, and I will definitely return if I have the chance.

I visited a’Bouzy on August 17, 2024, during restaurant week. The atmosphere was amazing and peaceful. The female hostess was rude! The male host was inviting and very accommodating. Our waitress was efficient and loving with a great smile. I would visit again.

Service was great as usual. Food was good. We were here for HRW. The frozen carajillo is a hard pass. The half cheesecake was pretty lame. If you need to serve a smaller portion just make a smaller cheesecake. It looks tacky to cut it in half. They did honor the HRW menu that was posted online even if it was incorrect. Again, a testament to great service. Parking is awful if you do not valet.
