This place is really solid. I live close by but had not gone. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is much nicer than I had assumed. Service was great. I will be back.

Sunday Brunch at Passerella on Washington around 12:30 on Sunday. I was unsure because I was in nice shorts and a polo and the website says business casual, but I was the only customer. I was in the mood for a nice lunch and had heard good things.
The dining room is sizable, and they have a lovely private room. The setting is very pleasant despite looking out on Washington Avenue. They have a good-sized patio that might be nice when it is cooler. I loved that while I was eating a gentleman walked up with his labrador and sat down at the patio and the host promptly headed out with a water bowl for the doggo and then a menu for the owner.
The host/server was very friendly, and I had my pick of tables near the window. There was a fun mix of brunch music playing, Sinatra and some island hop. I ordered the Grilled Watermelon Salad for $13.95 and the Ultimo Meatball Wrap for $14.95. I had a diet coke that was not charged and two glasses of Chardonnay for $10 each. My bill with tax and 20% tip was $62.71 which was fair for the quantity and quality of food.
The Grilled Watermelon Salad was good, not great. The blueberry vinaigrette was subtle and poured around the salad on the plate and you had to work to get much of it on the greens, so the greens were a little blah.
The Meatball wrap was served with home-made hot potato chips and on pizza crust. It was perfectly grilled. The meatballs could be a bit more generous, but the sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella, and crust were a nice combination. I was not super hungry and took half the wrap home.
It is a great space, it used to be the Union Kitchen space. Okay wine list, limited choices by the glass but fine for brunch and a decent amount of salad and main choices for brunch.
I wasn’t blown away, but it was good, and I think on point for the price. If the dining room had been full and festive it may have left a different impression. I’ll have to stop back at prime time for dinner and see. Five stars, service, four stars food, fours stars setting and overall.

First time to this location. Love all the restaurants this group owns. The best aspect of this location I think is the atmosphere. Lots of tables by the window looking out to the Washington Circle and nice oak trees. The food was solid. Nice selection. Wife had the snapper with crab meet and I had the Brick Chicken special. Fish was outstanding. Definitely will order again. Chicken was on the dry side but flavorful. Overall a solid 4 and will be back. Bar area looked nice for a happy hour cocktail.

Very cute restaurant. Nice decor and atmosphere. We went for happy hour. You are given a free glass of champagne. Our waiter was a very tall guy, not sure of his name but was very nice. We got the Margherita pizza and chicken parmigiana. The pizza would e tasted better if it didn’t have balsamic glaze on it. Besides that everything was great. The champagnes we ordered were in very big glasses!

Loved being greeted by some bubbly. The steak was cooked perfectly. The shrimp scampi was great. I enjoyed the crispiness of the brussel sprouts. Well definitely be coming back.

We've eaten here twice now and I have been blown away by the flavors and service both times. Fans of classic Italian dishes and of classics-with-a-twist are both bound to be happy dining here. Everything is so flavorful, and the stuffed flounder and mushroom tart absolutely melted in my mouth. For a fun ending, try the table side Tiramisu- a fun experience!
