The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful and friendly. The meal was exceptional!
I have been waiting to eat here for a year, as I don't live locally. Will definitely return when I come back to Houston for an appointment.

Oh what a disappointment! Have been here so many times so many years ago and have thought about returning when we travel back to Houston. Pate was really flavorless, bread still good, French onion soup 3 out of 10, rabbit dish was good. Won’t rush back any time soon. Server didn’t even know what kind of cheese was atop the soup😮

To top off the lousy service, one of the servers actually laid down on one of the booths — with customers in the restaurant. This place has gone totally downhill since our days of frequenting this place. We’ve talked about it so many times since moving and actually decided to go back again while visiting and boy what a letdown😩

I booked a reservation here for Valentine’s Day and was utterly disappointed in the meal and service! For a Prix Fixe meal both entrees were not what I was expecting from a supposedly authentic French restaurant. The chicken entree was tough and tasteless. I mentioned this to the waiter and was told that I should have said something earlier. He then proceeded to take the plate with most of the food remaining. The Chilean sea bass was oily and lukewarm. My dinner guest became sick later that night and morning after eating this food. I have tried multiple times, through phones calls and emails to reach out to the management staff only to be told that they would get back to me - but after nearly a week I have not heard back from anyone. For $170 Valentines meal for two I should have gone to La Madeline and would have had a much better meal! , Chef Joe Mannke would be most disappointed!

Great service— welcomed at least three times upon walking in, and servers were gracious and professional. However, there was quite a long wait for food, as some reviews have mentioned. Once seated, we were treated to complimentary pate, and servers came by twice with warm bread. The Escargot was well-flavored, and the appetizers were well-plated. The plating of the entrees left much to be desired for the price point paid (each dish looked like it had been thoughtlessly but uniformly dumped on a plate), but flavors were mostly good (the rabbit tasted like chicken). The Tarte Tatin was great, and the Mousse Au Chocolate was incredibly airy (to the point where we felt almost cheated out of the $9). Pretty rustic and quaint atmosphere.

Overall, good food and would return, but as a more upscale restaurant, there are still improvements that can be made.

The waiter was friendly and welcoming. The food was good to me but lacked depth for me. I had the chicken ( pictured below), but my husband loved his rabbit.

A wonderful dinner experience! The service was absolutely impeccable and really elevated the whole night. My fiancé and I went in as first timers looking for a new place to try and were blown away by the good food and warm ambiance. Huge shoutout to Efrain for making our night with his great recommendations and attentiveness, he made our entire dinner a night to remember.

A hidden french gem that is a miss if you dont look. It does feel and smell very old school french (and yes, I have been to France). The escargot was buttery and tender. The duck was crisp. And the wine was very generous. Support this local joint, even if you are unfamiliar with the cuisine. Especially for restaurant week.

I visited this place during restaurant weeks and ordered. First time at a French restaurant. The food was all great. If I were to go again, I would probably just order five creme brulees. Great service and friendly staff.
