Horrible ice rink for hockey. Quite possibly the worst hockey rink in the US. It’s Texas, so understandable to an extent … but these guys aren’t even trying toto maintain the boards, glass, and definitely not the ice.

Front desk lady has an unwarranted attitude, no offense but why would you try to lean into the bitter old hag stereotypes it's embarrassing. Other than that this place is fine and lets you skate for as long as you want. Nice support staff. Great for kids!

My son has been taking lessons here for nearly two years and absolutely loves it. The staff here are very welcoming and helpful, as are the other regular skaters and their families. My son has made a ton of friends of all ages and looks forward to coming every week. His coaches have been incredible. They truly care about the students. My husband and I even started skating because of how much fun our son was having. We have a blast! Other reviews state that the ice isn't great, but that's really only true in the summer. This is Texas. It is incredibly hot and humid and a challenge to keep the ice in perfect condition at all times. This is true of other rinks, as well. The staff here are not sitting around idly; they are always actively working to improve the facility and make it enjoyable for the customers. Like I said, this is Texas - maintaining ice and a facility full of ice when it is 100+ degrees and 80%+ humidity is an uphill battle. As for the reviews stating that the staff isn't friendly, that has not been our experience, nor the experience of anyone I know that frequents this rink. I can't tell you how many times I have watched someone come in for public skate and just be a complete jerk to the people working the front window. The way that people treat the staff working the birthday parties is beyond ugly. We actually left a birthday party because of the way one of the moms was treating the young ladies working the party. The problem here is not the staff, I assure you. If you have ever worked with the general public, you are familiar with what I am referring to. We recommend this rink regularly and will continue to do so. We love it here!

It is an ice rink in Houston. Is it perfect? No. Is it decent ice? Yes. I’ve played hockey all over the USA and Canada. I’ve played in much worse conditions. At least there are no pools of water blocked off with cones. Haha. No complaints. If you can’t play here, then that’s on you. Support your local rink before they disappear!

Went to the rink for the first time and I had a good experience. The facility and building are older but I was able to navigate it just fine. There wasn't much staff but it was a late publice skate session on a Friday night. There are a lot of negative reviews but for me the rink is good. If I were taking my kids and had them in hockey or figure skating I'd gratitque this place but honestly, I just wanted a late public ice skate session and it was perfect. It was not packed, there was so much room and was relatively quiet. The ice was alright but if you have good and sharp blades I don't think it'll be a issue. The bleachers are pretty old but I didn't smell any mold or see any fog on the rink glass when I was there, but like I said, I'm not going to sitting in them long or looking for rusted items and puddles. In closing, if you want a place to public skate late I think you should give it a try.
