BEWARE: Severe Vehicle Damage & Illegal Valet Operation Under Texas and Houston Law Do not trust this establishment with your vehicle. Simone on Sunset operates a valet stand stationed directly outside their main entrance on Sunset Blvd. After surrendering my truck to their attendant at this podium, my vehicle was severely crashed, resulting in over $7,600 in certified body and structural damage. Upon documenting the incident, it was revealed that this operation violates multiple local and state laws: Illegal & Unlicensed Driver: The attendant operating customer vehicles had no auto insurance and was driving on an out-of-state driver's license that has been expired since 2015. City of Houston Municipal Violations: Under Houston Code of Ordinances Chapter 26 (Article VII), commercial valet operations on public streets require valid city operator permits, designated zone permits, and licensed drivers. Texas State Law Violations: Under Texas Transportation Code Chapter 686, valet operators are required to maintain strict financial responsibility and commercial insurance to cover customer vehicle damage. The Houston Police Department was dispatched to the venue, and an official report was filed (HPD Incident # 1194390-26 C). Despite running an unauthorized stand on the curb and handing customers’ property to an illegal, unvetted driver, management has refused to take responsibility, ignores calls, and fails to provide commercial insurance details to resolve the thousands of dollars in damage caused under their watch. Entrusting your keys to this venue violates basic consumer safety and exposes you to severe financial risk and property loss.

This place is very nice, intimate setting. The lights are dimmed inside which set a very chill mood. I like the drinks here they are made very well. I recommend the key lime martini and the Sunshine in Oaxaca drink. The food has been delicious and dessert is great! Sunday nights they have salsa dance classes… the only reason I’m giving a four is that parking is limited. Other than that I definitely recommend this place.

Great oysters on the half shell and the smoked duck pizza with a substitution of goat cheese instead of blue cheese was excellent! $20 bottles of wine on special on Thursdays for happy hour.
