Hi Shanon, I am sure that you are mistaken. I don’t have a father. It was me and my husband only and we never ever talked about the parking or anything like what you said in your response! We’ve been here before we actually go to Roma just for the Ravioli. For today the Valentine’s Day dinner we chose to come to Roma to enjoy our favourite Ravioli. When we arrived we were told that they ONLY have a special menu for tonight and they DO NOT have the regular menu which was not clear when we booked from OPEN TABLE. That was the first thing. Unfortunately our server wasn’t doing his best! Unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment to us. Dry and cold. I didn’t eat my main (pasta with eggplant) it was a little bit spicy for me, and my husband’s main was a salmon which came under our expectations! The owner/manager is a very nice person by the way, but unfortunately this happened tonight!😔💔

We were a party of 5 and seated in the main dining room, in a lovely spot near the entrance. Two of my friends were at the table when we arrived enjoying the fresh bread service with delectable dipping oil. Can we talk about that dipping oil for a second?! I bet we consumed at least 4 or 5 ramekins of it. (Sorry, Roma!). I started with their Caesar and split it with my friend across the table because it's a sizeable salad. The salad arrives deconstructed so you can cut and mix the ingredients as you please. We ate every bite. My absolute favorite pasta dish is carbonara, and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara at Roma is OUTSTANDING. They had me at the big chunks of crisp tender guanciale. I am still thinking about this dish days later! My husband ordered the Ravioli di Funghi, and he said it was perfectly saucy without being heavy. He ate every bite. Friend to my left had the Scaloppine di Vitello, and I do believe he enjoyed it. He, too, ate every bite. Everyone found something on the wine list to enjoy, and I'm eager to try other sparkling and still whites on the next visit. The atmosphere was bustling with energy, and Connor, our server, handled our requests perfectly. Living in the suburbs, it's a haul for us to go into town, and Roma has given us a new reason to make the roundtrip more regularly. Thank you Shanon and your team for creating a profound dining experience.

Very friendly and warm service even though we arrived without a reservation. Loved the gin martini. The food was delicious especially the well-grilled fish served and prepared table side. Burrata and mushroom ravioli were really nice. Really enjoyed the evening

As someone with Sicilian roots, I am always on the lookout for authentic Italian cuisine, and ROMA exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in Southern Italy. The menu is a true celebration of authentic Italian flavors, with dishes that are clearly crafted with love and tradition. The food transported me straight to Sicily—each bite was a reminder of home. The limoncello, in particular, was exceptional, perfectly balanced and refreshing. It brought back memories of sipping it after meals with family in the heart of Sicily. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff, both Shannon & Anthony made the experience even better with their kindness making us feel as if we were friends forever, and I have a seafood allergy in which they were very cautious of. ROMA is a true gem, and I can confidently say it’s the most authentic Italian dining experience I’ve had outside of Italy and my now favorite place to dine and Limoncello !!! :-) If you’re craving genuine Italian food, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to go back!

We celebrated our Friendsgiving in the private room here, and we're so grateful to the owner, Shanon, for making it all possible. We had an amazing time! The food was exceptional, especially the polpetti di manzo and beef short rib. Michael provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special touch was the offer to print custom menus for our dinner, which made the experience feel even more personal. The restaurant itself is charming, quaint, and has a wonderfully authentic atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Roma is our favorite restaurant, from its inviting ambiance and outstanding patio—the best in Houston—to its flavorful dishes. Owner Shanon Scott truly hits it out of the park every time.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with patio siting as well. The customer service was amazing. Desserts were delicious. As for the food I had the Cacio e Pepe with truffles, and there was something that I couldn’t quite pin point which I didn’t very much enjoy, black truffles? Basil? Garlic?something bitter and offensive to my palate, anyways. My husband did enjoy his carbonara pasta very much, and we are looking forward to trying more of their dishes.
