    What makes it fun

Ray Miller Park is perfect for a romantic stroll or a cozy picnic under the Texas sky. Named after the legendary Houston journalist, this park is a love letter to tranquility and charm. The beautifully landscaped grounds feature winding walking trails, lush greenery, and inviting benches where you can steal a quiet moment with your sweetheart. Enjoy a leisurely walk hand-in-hand, pack a picnic to enjoy together, or just take a sweet moment together in the gazebo.

I did face painting at a birthday party here. Nice weather. Park was easy to find. Lots of shade trees. Very nice playground.

Visited the park long back in 2019. The park has a small parking lot at the entrance. This 15 acre small park is great place for walking for the people living or working in nearby places on the busy Eldridge Pkwy. It is pet-friendly. The park offers 2 children’s playgrounds, gazebo, swings, restrooms, picnic tables, BBQ pits, benches, boardwalk, a butterfly garden, a wildflower area, and some birdhouses. The park also features a steel statue of Bengali Polymath Rabindranath Tagore at the entrance, adjacent to the parking lot.

I enjoy coming to Ray Miller Park for my Boot Camp workouts. The park is always clean and the maintenance men keep the bathroom smelling fresh constantly. Also I enjoy the trail along the park, the 2 playgrounds and crossover bridge.
