It was super great! My long-distance friend was visiting for a couple days, so we decided to go paint pottery together. She was leaving in 3 days so I was just going to mail it to her, but the guy working there said he would do it super fast just for us. He was really nice and I had a lot of fun. He also gave me fruit snacks :)

I went here on a date and we had so much fun! The selection of pieces isn’t quite as varied as some other places but the vibe is SO good and I like supporting a small local business. Prices are very reasonable. Also we got a late start and they let us stay half an hour past closing to finish, which we really appreciated.

I decided to have my 26th birthday party here and it was the best decision I have ever made. My 13 friends came, and we all painted our own plates, and the following week for my boyfriend‘s birthday, we had a dinner party with the plates! It was such a fun night and it was such a priceless memory, and all my friends are so excited to go back for any excuse that we can!! We were in such good hands here- they let us bring our own food, alcohol, we even had an iPad with the Texans game playing, and we had a section of the place blocked off for our party. They pulled plates for us in advance, so we all were guaranteed to have a dinner plate to paint. The tables were set when we arrived with plates ready, and they even let us move the tables around so that we could all face each other, and when I picked up the plates five days later, all of them were set out so I could see them all and they were packaged up so nicely and bubble wrap in a box for me to take. I can’t recommend purple glaze more. I told everybody I know about it and if you’re thinking of throwing a party or even just having a couple friends go or even just going yourself I 100% recommend you go and make this incredible memory!!!

beautiful pottery painting AAPI-owned studio! The owners are the absolute kindest people on earth. located in Rice Village, this place is perfect for a group of friends, a fun date, or a birthday party. I love painting my own “masterpieces” here with their huge variety of colors. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. I will never stop coming here :)

Local to the West University area, it’s a great place to host a birthday party, date, or kids day. Fun for the kids to pick and choose a item to paint and take home. Love love love. The owners are lovely and very involved with the community, it feels great to support their small business.
