I called to make reservations for a table right on the patio and the front desk receptionist told me that they cannot hold space because it’s first come first serve but when I got there and there was an open patio table, they said that all the tables in the patio were reserved months in advance and that it is not first come first serve. Meanwhile, there was a table in front of us in the patio that was empty for at least an hour and a half.

Man service here was just top tier. The food was phenomenal. The best steak I have ever had in my life! I want to give a special shoutout to our serve frank. He made our birthday dinner a complete success. Frank was very attentive and just on point the entire night. Thank you frank for taking care of us. We will definitely be returning.

Had the greatest waitress we went for our 10 year anniversary it was amazing she knew the menu helped us pick literally the best desert ! So happy we found an amazing place with amazing humans the food was extraordinary the lemon drop was Devine ! We had a great view it was overall the most amazing time and we found our forever date spot ! She recommended we get the butter cake and we’ve never had a desert more delicious!

We’ve been visiting this location for years. It’s their flagship, and you can tell why. This is where the standards are set, and they keep raising the bar. Food is excellent, vibes are on point, and the ambiance is ornate. But what truly keeps driving us back is the people. The GM Sam is a hospitality guru and well known in the industry. He’ll talk your ear off if you let him, but his wisdom and charisma know no bounds. His allure is real, and he’ll make you feel welcomed like family. Chris is a staple behind the bar. God only knows how long he’s been there for, but he keeps their train on the tracks. And literally everyone knows him. Legendary! David has been moving his way up the ranks at lightning speed. He’s got the guts and presence to make magic happen. Keep an eye on this guy! Special shoutout to Kelly who has watched us grow up over the years. Deanei for keeping me line. And don’t let me forget Rob, Trace, Nia, Kara, Rian, the valet gents, and the rest of the staff who have made our evenings there special. To many more at Mastros!

I celebrated my birthday dinner at Mastro’s on Friday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional. Everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food was delicious and the drinks were equally impressive and complemented the meal perfectly. Thank you to the entire team for helping make my birthday memorable. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Mastro’s for anyone looking for outstanding food, drinks, and top-notch service!

My wife and I dined here for dinner last Sunday and it was a great experience. The steak and sides were delicious! The GM was very generous and even treated us to dessert on the house! Being a long time Landrys select member, I was impressed with the quality and service I’ve come to know at many of their establishments. Highly recommend this place!

Our server Tyler was absolutely incredible! He made my experience so personable and welcoming. I had the best birthday dinner there because of him. He was super nice and funny and I can’t wait to come back! Tyler deserves a raise! The food was delicious as well! Steak and scallops cooked perfectly! Great experience overall. I called last minute when plans fell through for Valentine’s Day and they were understandably booked. The hostess was able to find us a table and got us reserved. We showed up 15 minutes early (5:45) and they sat us right away. Getting there later would have been a longer wait, this place filled up fast (over 800 reservations just that evening). Our waitress (Tuy) was amazing and very attentive. All of the staff who served us were exceptionally professional and attentive. The food portions served “family style” were very generous. We decided to split the 1/2 orders of mac&cheese and Brussel sprouts, and we weren’t able to finish them. The steak was a poor choice on my side I believe. I ordered the dry-aged and it was not a flavor we will be requesting again. Perhaps paired with a wine to bring out more flavors could have enhanced the experience, but I’m not a wine drinker. The tallow fries were excellent, the marrow appetizer did not meet expectations from other similar establishments we have visited. The lemon dressed arugula garnish saved the day for the marrow. Make a reservation, plan ahead, valet or getting dropped off is the only option, dress appropriately for fine dining, and enjoy the waterfall ambiance provided at a Houston Gem.

Great birthday experience at Mastro’s! The waiters were all extremely welcoming and insightful with all wines and food recommendations. We were seated in a nice quiet area where it was more intimate with a Christmas tree to light the room up. Food was perfect. Portions are definitely big here so you’ll be having a to go box like we did. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Simply put. This restaurant is nothing short of amazing. The food is exceptional and probably the best Steakhouse I have been to in a long while. Everything was made to perfection. Definitely can't wait to visit again and I'm in love with the Carajillo. It's a must have. Highly recommended and you will NOT be disappointed.

🥩🐟 Love it! 😊 Mastro’s Steakhouse is an absolute gem in Houston! 🥩💎The vibe here is unmatched—everyone is dressed to impress, giving the place a luxurious and fancy atmosphere that’s hard to find in the city. The live piano music 🎶 🎹 adds to the sophisticated ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. ❤️ Our waiter was fantastic, especially with it being our first visit. He explained everything thoroughly, helping us choose a bottle of wine 🍷and our meals. My boyfriend, who is a steak connoisseur, said it was the best steak he’s ever had (and he’s tried them everywhere)! I ordered seafood, and it was equally delicious. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary butter cake to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. It was warm, buttery, and absolutely divine. 🧁🤤🎉 While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning. Mastro’s is now one of our favorite places to dine in Houston! LOVEEEEEE 😋

We have been there many times and decided to give our review today. We definitely love the food, service, and atmosphere here. The bread baskets here are always freshly baked and come out hot and very hard to resist! This time we had our usual oyster on half shell, and they were fresh as usual. The hot stone Japanese A5 Wagu was perfectly cooked by our server, and my favorite is the 18-ounce bone-in fillet. It was perfectly cooked, medium-rare. Bone marrow was rich and yummy! The CLEAR LOBSTER ROLL is also a must-try dish. It was surprisingly good and full of flavor.
