Spent our anniversary here with our 2 month old. Got in early, they were very accommodating and the food was delicious. They understand how to blend flavor profiles with the Lamb Ragu and the shareables are perfect. Don’t forget about the wine selection!

We started with the sourdough bread/herb butter and shared the mushroom spinach gnocchi and the shrimp scampi. The bread had drizzle of honey that could do without but was good. The gnocchi and shrimp dishes were delicious. Great selection of wines. Overall nice experience. No problem parking is a plus.

We dined the other night at this awesome place. It was a Tuscany wine dinner and the owner of the winery was there and he was tremendous. The wines were great, the food was perfect and the staff at Mastrantos is fabulous. Tony the head chef along with Xavier, the owner along with Jamilla and Jordan and the rest of the staff made the evening a night to remember. But every night you go there you're treated like family because it's a great family owned restaurant. Whether you dine at the bar or at a high top or choose a table, you'll be able to visit with your neighbors while dining. It's one of the Heights best!

Stopped my Mastrantos for a quick bite to eat. They had a Fettuccine Alfredo on the menu for the evening which was out of this world good. Went back a couple days later to try the Pasta Dumpling which were also excellent and very creative. Love seeing the kitchen right from the table. Great overall vibe for a chill casual dinner at the bar or a romantic gently-lit evening with a special friend at a table. 😀

I've only gotten to try their food at the Dining in The Dark Experience, but the food and environment is great. Savory or sweet dishes, atmospheric decorations, and a decent drink menu. I will have to come back to try their signature dishes, but this seems like a great place for a date or to meet up.

What's located in the Heights, is delicious, and super cozy? Well, that probably describes plenty of places, but I'm talking about the restaurant, Mastrantos! We arrived pretty late, and although they looked quite busy, we were seated right away. The service was wonderful, the food was fantastic. The serving sizes looked a bit small, but I'm guessing that's because here in America we are used to eating double the size of a normal portion. It actually ended up being the perfect size. We both felt full, but without feeling like we had eaten too much, which, of course, meant there was room for dessert! It was a tough choice between chocolate ravioli and carrot cake, which sounded amazing. We ordered the chocolate ravioli, and again, the portion size looked small. However, we shared one dessert and it was plenty big enough for both of us. This was a nice dining experience. I enjoyed the food, which was expertly prepared. The atmosphere was nice, it seemed to me like a "special occasion" restaurant, but would also be nice to visit every now and then "just because."
