This hotel always has a very elegant presentation and a calming atmosphere. We always valet park our vehicle and add the bill to our room. I believe that is $65. There are a couple different restaurants on the first level and a coffee shop that you can stop at. The lazy Texas shaped pool and another bar/ restaurant is on the 6th floor. We went during Christmas time so everything was very Merry and Festive! I had an issue with my room key not opening my room door and the front desk staff addressed the issue promptly. They even offered to meet me at my room if there were any more issues with the key so I wouldn't have to come back down to the front desk again with my luggage. The room was clean, neat and there weren't any issues. The water pressure in the shower was good and all the condiments on the shower wall were functioning properly. The TV in the room was a smart TV so I could log into my Netflix account to watch my shows! All the restaurants and areas that served food or a beverage that we went to were able to charge the final bill to my room which was so convenient! Each elevator was decorated with some kind of astronaut which I thought was super cute! The lazy river pool had a hot chocolate stand and was decorated with plenty of photo opportunities.

This was our 3rd time out for a company party. Opting for self parking helped improve our stay. Rooms are nice and big. Party was very nice! We finally got an interior room this year, so we had a nice view of the pool. View for outside rooms wasn’t as good last couple of years.

This is an awesome place to stay. The Texas-shaped lazy river alone makes it worth it, but the rooms are also clean, modern, and super comfortable. The location is perfect—right by the convention center and close to everything downtown. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the overall vibe was great.

The hotel is very nice, and I enjoyed itna great deal. The restaurants were quite good. The sky was overcast, but we tried to enjoy the pool area. There was some kind of event going on, so the hot tub was full. There is a lazy river which is very lovely. However, the liner for it seems to have separated from the bottom, making it a bit awkward to walk around. If you grab one of the tube's and float, it is hardly noticeable. The concierge, Jasper, was amazing, and even arranged to have a nice snack tray brought to our room as a surprise for my spouse.

This hotel was great, really great! It’s accessible and totally approachable. The parking offsite left a little to be desired, especially at 45 bucks a night (long walk from garage, through the convention center, and into the hotels conference area… then an elevator ride to the first floor just for lobby access…) also, the proximity to the city park felt cool with a 4 year old, but it’s a city park (there was discarded drug paraphernalia in hands reach). But the hotel was safe, quiet, and the staff was very friendly! The pool is as cool as social media lets on! Swam each day of our 4 night stays. Looking forward to staying again

Amazing experience to stay here. Not only the kids but also the adults enjoyed its iconic Texas shaped lazy river during the super hot summer time. It’s so much fun! The pool area was clean and rich in design. You can get relaxed by floating on the river or lying by the beautiful pool. In the lazy river, there is one spot with the infinity pool design; the view from the top of the hotel building is great. When you dive in the water, you can see the view through the glass wall of the pool as well.
We got one room facing to the lazy river and the other facing to the Minute Maid park. There was no Huston Astros game during our visit though. The view of the lazy river from the room was excellent either in the day time or night time.
The M Club Lounge was a great place to enjoy the breakfast or snacks. It’s buffet style with a bunch of selections for breakfast.
