I genuinely wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it’s a no from me. The atmosphere and decor are beautiful, and the restaurant itself is very inviting. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the ambiance. A large insect ended up on our table while I was eating bread, and when the server removed it, it was smashed across the table. No replacement bread was offered. I was also hit twice by the cheese wheel cart and several times by tray stands. I understand the restaurant is small, but some spatial awareness would have been appreciated. My rigatoni alla vodka was dry, and the additional sauce I requested never came. Service overall was subpar. The biggest disappointment was the management. The manager could tell we were unhappy but never asked how he could help. Instead, he directed us to a speakeasy area where a bartender then yelled at us for sitting down — even though the manager had told us to sit there. We left shortly after. For the price point, I expected much better food, service, and hospitality. Beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was not worth the price.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary excepting great food and service and we didn’t receive it sadly it ruined our experience. We first had a waiter come up and grab our drinks then we had another server come up and take our order and he never came back after he took our order. We had to flag down another person just to get refills on our drinks (which was just water) we actively saw our server check in on 4 other of his tables three times and not once did he come back to check on us, when he did come back and check on us he did not have a good attitude whatsoever ever with us. We love trying new places and for the most part we’ve had an excellent experience in many other restaurants in Houston but this restaurant will not be seeing us again.

Phenomenal service and management - I arrived with flowers for our anniversary and they immediately took them to their walk in refrigerator to keep them fresh. Food was delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. Highly recommend the lemoncello dessert.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lombardi made an already special night unforgettable! We celebrated my girl’s mom’s birthday, and the team also helped me coordinate a surprise proposal to my now-fiancée. Everything came together perfectly. A special shoutout to Everett—he was AMAZING! Attentive, personable, and completely in on the surprise. He truly went above and beyond to make the night special. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service. Thank you, Everett and Lombardi, for being part of a moment we’ll never forget!

The ambiance here is beautiful, however the staff could use a little work. They were very dismissive and lacking in attentiveness. The food we had was pretty good, I wouldn't say it was worth the prices but it was good. We had the Wagyu Meatballs as a starter, and for the entree I had the Ravioli D'Angello Brasato & Balsamico & Roasted cauliflower and my friend had the Fazzoletti Al Pesto & Burrata with Wild Mushrooms which were all very good and tasty. Segreto Lounge (Located in the back of the restaurant) was an experience. First off you need a reservation if you would like to have anywhere to sit, if you go when they barely open it's nice and empty, that's where we started before the restaurant. The service was mid, we felt very rushed by the waitress to just give her our card. We tried to go back after dinner and it was beyond packed, and if there were any free seats available you were told you couldn't sit there without a reservation and a MINIMUM of $150 per table was required. It just wasn't the vibe I was expecting to get, seems like they care more about how much you're going to spend than they do at actually making their customers feel welcome.

Friday night dinner. This place has a buzz in the air. Beautiful people everywhere. Great atmosphere. The service was outstanding. The food was really good. Pasta was prepared table side. Phenomenal Italian restaurant.

Best bar for people watching in HTown. We enjoyed the fun social atmosphere and saw some great looking outfits. Manager was super nice. He gave us dessert at the end and it was the best tiramisu ever! Sitting at the bar was perfect. Food was delish, I loved the fresh bread at the start. Bar tender was fabulous too.

We recently celebrated my brother Alfredo’s birthday at Lombardi Cucina Italiana, and while the ambiance was undeniably beautiful with its elegant white accents and trees at the center of the restaurant, what truly made the night exceptional was the service we received from Red. From the moment we sat down, Red’s attention to detail was evident. He was warm, attentive, and ensured that every request was met with care. Whether it was answering our questions about the menu or offering recommendations, he did so with a level of professionalism and charm that made us feel genuinely cared for. His partner, Igor, was equally attentive, but Red’s personal touch really stood out. He created an atmosphere where we felt like VIPs, consistently checking in without being overbearing and making sure every course was served with precision. The kindness didn’t stop there. We were also warmly welcomed by Manager Keaton, Executive Chef Mauro, and Director Stefano, whose presence added to the hospitality. Their combined efforts, along with Red’s five-star service, made the evening unforgettable. It’s rare to come across service that elevates the entire dining experience, but Red and the team managed to do just that. If you’re dining at Lombardi Cucina Italiana, I’d highly recommend asking for Red – you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing night! Great food, amazing service, and a sexy vibe. This was my 1st time to experience this lovely restaurant, located in Uptown/Galleria area. I was not disappointed. This is 5 stars restaurant …. And if you give less than 5 … well … this is not your place. This place is in the top 5 in Houston and is very authentic Italian. Amazing location and atmosphere both inside and on the patio with live music. Excellent service and great food…. Expensive YES but totally worth it. If you are looking for a cheap place … well this is not your place. But, the experience is totally worth the price you pay. I hope it will stay like this for long time. Pictures talk by themselves.
