I came across a cocktail on La Griglia's menu called the “Negroni 47,” which lists Monkey 47 Gin as an ingredient, and I find this combination incredibly offensive. I understand that Negroni is an established cocktail and Monkey 47 is an actual gin brand. However, the word “negro” means black in Spanish and Italian, and comparing Black people to monkeys has a long and deeply offensive racist history. Out of all the gin brands available, Monkey 47 had to be the one selected for this particular cocktail? And beyond that, the fact that this combination was reviewed, approved, and ultimately presented on the restaurant's menu without anyone apparently questioning how it might be perceived is ridiculous to me. I'm not claiming to know the restaurant's intentions, but intent does not erase impact. The association is glaring and deeply uncomfortable, and I find it difficult to believe that no one involved in creating or approving the menu considered how these words might come across. Restaurants should exercise cultural awareness and sensitivity when developing and presenting their menus. I sincerely hope La Griglia takes this concern seriously and reconsiders how this cocktail is presented. Whether intentional or not, I find this combination offensive, and it deserves to be addressed.

I’ve been here several times. I love the atmosphere, the service and the beauty. Although I have had good food here unfortunately I ordered the Hanging Hen which is a 1/2 roasted chicken I ordered that about a year and a half ago and it was so dry and I told myself I will not order it again. Then today we went there again and I wanted chicken so I gave it another try. At lunch it’s called the Green Circle farms chicken well when I got it was not fully cooked the wait staff took it back for it to be fully cooked but when they brought it back it was really dry and tasted bad. I was offered to order another meal but I didn’t have time. The service was great and I was in good company and the food ordered by the people that I was with was really good but it was so sad that they just can’t get the chicken right.

Guys this place is soooooo✨❤️ I don’t have to explain but trust me y’all have to try the pasta table side cheese wheel even if you don’t want it, that’s definitely the best experience I’ve ever had from Italian restaurant. I don’t need to mention about the service, they came and checked on us if everything been alright with us or is there anything they could help. The atmosphere is supppppp🤍✨ and yeah they have a dress code for a reason. 🤭 Also I had my reservation for anniversary on their website and they welcome us with anniversary card and anniversary chocolate cake 🤍 love it!

Took the staff for lunch. Great food, a little pricy but good, service was great but a little slow but to be fair it was during Christmas time. I would recommend for special occasions.

We celebrated our work Christmas party at this beautiful restaurant, what an experience. The wait staff was amazing, dressed so professionally and the best I have ever had. The way they take care of you, top notch service. The manager or owner I’m not sure but he was in charge and he will make you feel as though you are the most important person in the world as he explains everything to you. I really enjoyed talking to him. He had our party laughing so hard. Now the food was on another level, all I can say is be ready next level taste, they have real chef’s at this place. My wife and I still talk about our experience. The obeisance of this place is incredible from the valet parking to the dining room everything was wonderful. If you’re trying to impress your friends or your date this is your place.

I recently celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriends, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious—easily some of the best Italian cuisine I’ve ever had! Ruben, one of the managers, gave us excellent recommendations, and his hospitality was top-notch. The entire staff made us feel so welcomed and valued. A+ service all around! This is now my favorite Italian spot, hands down. By far the best Italian dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Cute little place with nice patio . The food was absolutely delish. I really enjoyed the table side truffle cheese wheel pasta dish ( forgot the name ) with a side of shrimp . Both were absolutely delish . Our cocktails and desert were also great . Will be going back.

What a charming experience we had at La Griglia! The restaurant is huge and airy, filled with the best kind of happy bustle. Right from when you're being seated, you're made to feel like a special, welcome guest. The portions are generous (check out the size of the burrata baseball in the salad), and the food is somehow both traditional and inventive. If you're a salad lover like me, you're going to love so many options, especially if you are tired of being presented with a giant bowl of greens and not much else. The pasta and seafood are top notch, as is the wine list. Dessert is worth the splurge, especially the chocolate cake with a beautiful, crunchy toffee tulle. It's small, delicious touches such as these that bring people back. And we will be!

Came in for dinner tonight. Was able to find street parking on the side of the restaurant. Sat by the table across from the bar. Michael took great care of us, offering drinks and food recommendations. Had the lobster bisque, kinda of salty, maybe too much sherry? We ordered the risotto, a little bit grainy but flavor was spot on. The spicy rigatoni had a nice kick. Spaghetti Alfredo was very creamy. No complementary dessert for birthday :( We gotten the hazelnut torte cake which was very rich if you love chocolate. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Beautiful ambiance and great staff.

This was an amazing experience all the way around!! The food was delicious and only amplified by the service we received. Breaux was excellent, experienced, and very knowledgeable about the wine and champagne offerings, the cocktail menu, as well as the food menu and made the evening very special for my husband and me. Everything we ate was incredible, and I highly recommend the seafood cheesecake… a unique and delicious culinary masterpiece.
