I've been there several times, everything was great. Today was disappointing. No one to seat us, later no one to take order. Finally when the food came everything tasted different, all the meat and chicken was dry and overcooked. One of the dishes was lamb tenderloin supposedly, it was so tough it couldn't be cut, very very dry and chewy, I don't believe it was tenderloin.. all the food had no flavor. Again, the other times everything was great. I don't know what went wrong today

Amazing Persian food with friendly service at very reasonable prices.
The hummus was flavorful and some of the best I've ever had.

Good spot for some Persian grilled food. The restaurant is quite spacious and is decorated pretty nicely which definitely enhances the experience. We went with a large group and while we had to wait a long time, they were able to accommodate us. The service is pretty friendly. We got a bunch of meat items for both beef and chicken and they were generally pretty good. The rice is quite bland however and the absence of sauces make it even drier.

This is the best Persian restaurant in Houston. The food is so good. I love the bread, hummus, eggplant dip, and the stews. It is a must to add lamb shank to any stew. Lamb shank is expertly handled. There is minimal gamey taste. I have been to a lot of Persian places in the US, and no one holds a candle compared to Kasra.

Wow, where to start! The lentil soup and the hummus appetizers were the best I've had. The waiter, Christopher, assured that the hummus was the best ever made, he was totally correct! Also his table presence was very informative. The lamb shank with basmati rice, and beef with basmati rice were mouth watering and very flavorful. And for dessert, baklava and pistachio ice cream were the cherry on top. Definitely recommend this fine establishment. And will add this place as one my favorite restaurants. Rarely do leave a five Star rating.
