This is one of the worst restaurants I’ve had. The calamari was too oily that my stomach became upset after a few bites. I ordered pasta with chicken. It arrived without chicken. The noodles were not cooked enough and the sauce was extremely salt with an odd flavor. I had to throw it all away. $50 for that. Please do better.

Absolutely amazing hidden gem! They have the best staff. everyone is super sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful! The food is also soooo amazing! The beet pasta I've had in Houston yet!

Handles our family gatherings very well. We have eaten there at different times and with different numbers of people and it’s always a great experience. Super easy parking.

[December 2024 Update. This has become one of our favorite places, and we darken their doorstep about once a week. The new menu items are a hit. Their patio is wonderful for outdoor dining on Houston winter days. Lovely service from Yolanda and Kevin on our last few visits. Fantastic spot!] George's is simply superb. The food is phenomenal and lovingly prepared and might be described as New American with an Italian flair. We have paid much more for meals that were not nearly this elite. The grilled trout can be upgraded for a small upcharge to include a very generous topping of crab and side dishes (as you can see in the photo). The charcuterie is huge and inventive with everything from high-quality mortadella to fresh honeycomb. The beet salad was fantastic and actually included a generous portion of beets, not the paper-thin slices some restaurants offer and then overcharge. We didn't even make it to the fantastic pasta menu or the HRW offerings. Buttermilk ice cream...how good does that sound when it's 100 degrees? George's has a full bar and a huge covered patio that sits on the east side of the restaurant, meaning it never sees the worst afternoon heat. Plenty of easy parking. Fantastic service from Nicholas and his ninja-like reflexes when we were clumsy. A new favorite!

George’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. The vibe is comfortable and casual, yet upscale. The food is delicious with a large and diverse menu. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Would 10/10 recommend! It’s a must try!

Came here for brunch during Houston restaurant weeks. It was a pre-set menu with lots of choices. We also did the mimosa flight. Staff was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking too. Would def recommend for brunch or dinner. Great local spot with fresh food, bright flavors, and friendly faces.
