Not sure if management changed or they just are consistently understaffed. We used to love this place but last 3 times we came service has been slow, uncaring. This last time after 20 minutes waiting for the dessert after our waiter forgot we ordered it with our food we just cancelled and asked for the check. He apologized and said they were taking long, but during the 20 kindness he never even acknowledged how long it was taking. We unfortunately won't return. Also they only had 1 valet, he was running around working hard but for this price point of a restaurant, its kind of ridiculous.

Shrimp etoufette, grilled duck, oysters, old fashioned! Corn bread app is phenomenal, along with Dan Dan shrimp, tuna tar tar and the service was amazing!

Food was good, the waiter was horrible. I asked him a question and interrupted me, never answered it and ordered food for me. After we had finished the waiter said “I can see you were too busy conversating instead of listening to my opinion”. He made things very awkward and I was uncomfortable the whole time. My date and I were not treated with respect and he made me feel like I did not belong here.

This place is on the absolutely must list!!! If you like well spiced but not overly spiced, this is your choice. The gulf fish tonight was flounder - amazing! On a bed of corn succotash that was crisp and light and the perfect blend for the light flakey flounder. Try the lemon icebox pie as a perfect end to the meal. Great food, wine, ambiance and an owner that actually works the room and cares about the experience!

The food was awesome. The cornbread is not to be missed. If you want sweet and savory in one dish, order the gumbo and have them pour it over a quarter of the cornbread... absolutely divine.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Eunice. It was perfect from beginning to end. The restaurant is gorgeous and has a great atmosphere. The drinks, appetizers and dinner were all so delicious. The service was top-notch. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Houston.

Brunch with my kids to celebrate birthdays and graduation. Excellent food and drink in a light and welcoming atmosphere. Complimentary parking validation also was a plus. Will be back again to enjoy another fine meal.

I visited on a Sunday as it’s been one of the places I wanted to try for a while now. The service was impeccable and the restaurant was beautiful but the Gumbo was not that great. I thought I’d start with gumbo before ordering anything else. Let’s just say, I didn’t order anything afterwards. It tasted like watery brown gravy. I couldn’t even finish it. However the service was great. If I have to return, I’ll just sit at the bar for drinks only.

Eunice never disappoints. It’s one of my go-to spots, because of the consistent quality. Seriously, everything is delicious, and the service is top notch. Even though the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, the food also speaks for itself, and I appreciate that. My forever favorites are the cornbread, gumbo, and oysters… however, everythingggg is really good.

My husband and I came in to celebrate our anniversary and we absolutely loved it. Our server was Amanda, we had her select options for us to try, as we wanted to try as much as possible, and she served us amazing recommendations. Her service and knowledge truly made our first time here incredibly memorable and special. Our favorite selections were the scallops, the royal red shrimp, and the cornbread. We tried many other delicious options but those were our favorites. The bread pudding was our dessert and it was so flavorful and delicious. We definitely want to return and we’ll ask for Amanda when we do.

Eunice is a truly delightful dining experience, offering a beautiful blend of charm, warmth, and elevated Southern flavors. The ambiance is absolutely stunning, bright, modern, and welcoming, with just the right touch of elegance that makes every visit feel special. The service is exceptional from start to finish. The staff is attentive, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, making you feel genuinely cared for throughout your meal. The oysters were a standout…fresh, briny, and absolutely fantastic. They set the tone for a meal full of promise. As for the gumbo, it leaned a bit on the thicker side with the roux, which meant it could’ve used a touch more seasoning. Thankfully, a few shakes of hot sauce brought it right back to life and made it enjoyable…and we loved the cornbread! Overall, Eunice offers wonderful service, a gorgeous setting, and standout dishes that make it well worth the visit. With oysters this good, you’ll definitely find yourself coming back!

Our experience here was top notch from the beginning to the end. The greeting from valet to our waitress was amazing. Our waitress was attentive without hovering, very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. We started with the raw oysters which were on sale during happy hour. They were the perfect size, very sweet and so fresh. Shucked right after we ordered them. Then we ate off the appetizer menu. The Dan Dan shrimp were tempura fried to perfection; the cornmeal fried oysters were served with a delicious sauce and the brussel sprouts were a little sweet and the crispy apple slices were a perfect pairing. I didn’t take a picture but I had the bread pudding and it was as close to my former mother in laws as I can remember. Highly recommend this place.

Came here for Mother’s Day…yes, this review may be extremely late..but the fact that we still talk about the food we had back then speaks volume on how good it is! We enjoyed the specialty oysters, cast iron cornbread (we ordered a second and third round 😅), charred broccolini (how do you make broccolini THIS GOOD?!), and the ribeye. We finished with the bread pudding and lemon icebox pie which were both decadent and a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. I think it’s time for me to book my reservation for this week..

Great starters and apps. Best corn bread in town. Mains are about $10 over priced each. Wish they would allow seating around the raw bar. They have valet, although you can self park in the adjacent garage on the upper floors and they will validate.

I went for brunch and it was so good! I had the crispy fried oysters and the local fish which was snapper. For my cocktail I the lavender French 76. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was amazing. She was on point with her recommendations. I highly recommend

We aren’t huge creole foodies, but this place did not disappoint one bit. We loved our food! The food and the drinks were all top tier. And we didn’t want for anything, our servers were on their A Game. We have a shellfish allergy in our party and they even made accommodations to the menu and in the kitchen to keep us safe. Well worth the price!

Loved this place! Great happy hour (3-6pm). The atmosphere and design is stunning - very high ceilings, modern, minimalistic. The cocktails were on point! We also tried fried shrimp and chargrilled oysters. Delicious and great price/value
