I ended up adding an extra mile to my loop because I missed a turn. Keep an eye on your map app if it's your first time. That minor issue aside, it's a peaceful, stunning slice of nature right outside the city."You can really feel the history here. it’s an absolute must-visit for anyone wanting a window into the past."Beautiful living history, just bring sturdy shoes and water.The volunteers are so knowledgeable and passionate! It’s a wonderful, educational day out, just come prepared for a rugged walk!"

Make sure and visit the historical society! They have some beautiful photos, and the ladies that were working there are super kind.

I went at night, so I didn't get the full experience, but it's a very interesting park with all the historical buildings.

Went for an event KSBJ was hosting at the park. It was too hot to enjoy anything, but I will definitely return when the weather gets cold.

Fabulous place to visit if you enjoy authentic historical buildings and life in the Houston area in the early 1900's. Free tours are given on Tuesdays. Our wonderful and informative 87-year old (or there about) tour guide was a member of the store owner's family. Well worth the visit!
