This bar gets so much hype that we decided to finally come see what all the fuss was about. Upon arriving at Toro in the Four Seasons, we checked in and were escorted to the secret entrance. It’s a fun gimmick, but less fun when you have to use the restroom and realize that it’s back in the lobby and you need an escort to go and to come back. Outside of that, service was incredibly friendly and spent a lot of time at our table explaining the menu and helping us decide what to order. I wish I could remember the specific cocktails that we ordered, but alas, I cannot. The drinks were great and we had a really good time but I’m not going to pretend like the location is super convenient.

So much fun. The drinks are outstanding — true mixology craft at its best. We loved watching the bartenders create each cocktail almost as much as we enjoyed drinking them. The space is intimate, moody, and the perfect backdrop for a night out after dinner. I especially appreciate that they don’t allow big crowds. It keeps the experience relaxed, elevated, and genuinely enjoyable. Special show out to Questions, Comments & Complaints. Y’all made our night!!

Me and my boyfriend got to experience this lovely place after a happy hour at Toro Toro! This bar is stunning! An elevated unique experience. From the hostess taking us back behind the bookshelf, to the ambience, to the drinks and staff! Everything was incredible.. we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

Enjoyed a lounging Friday evening at Bandista, a quaint speakeasy nestled inside the Four Seasons downtown. Beyond the secret passcode and hidden bookcase door, the bar itself is intimate, dark, and nicely understated with limited seating. We opted for bar seating where amongst the various drinks we tried, I recommend "La mala educación" (a unique, bolillo-infused cocktail) and the tart mezcal-based "Almost Famous," which comes with a cool Polaroid picture concept. The complimentary amuse-bouche was a sophisticated touch, and the curated chocolate served on a glass tray was unique. With the fast-growing speakeasy scene in Houston, this one is definitely worth a visit.

This was a really fun experience. It was a surprise for my husband which made it even more fun! The staff was awesome, friendly, and professional. We laid $8 to valet. The drinks were literally the best I’ve ever had! I don’t drink alcohol, and they had so many options for me to try. Our server Josh obviously loves his job, and does it well!! We chose to sit at the bar, and got to watch the bartenders make drinks, and show off their skills. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely intend to bring more friends here.

My husband and I had an incredible evening at this speakeasy bar. The atmosphere and mood were exceptional, the cocktails were outstanding, and the service provided by Ms. Ye-eun Park was truly remarkable. Choosing this bar made our trip to Houston even more memorable, and we will definitely return on our next visit.

Wow! This place is rated one of the best bars is North-America for a reason … prepare to be wowed by the interesting misc of liquors and mixers that culminate in incredibly interesting flavors. Drink presentation will wow you! Bar magicians were super friendly and knowledgeable. BRAVO!!!

Been to Bandista previously but this last time the alternative life style dike decide to be rude and tell me I could not order another drink that my time was almost up…ok well I still have time serve my drink! There is no mention of a time allowed in my reservation, this was never brought up in previous visits either. When I first sat down they took 20 mins to make my drink and they apologized and the was only 5 other people in there! Will not be going back!

Amazing cocktails and great service. The experience is everything. It was a little slow timing wise but they were slammed and still very attentive. We were there for the Christmas decor and it was lovely. Will go back again!

Bandista is a hidden gem inside the Four Season's hotel. The arrival and location is an experience in itself. But once you are in the bar, you are elevated to a different vibe. Phenomenal bartenders. VIP concierge service. Highly recommend.

5/5 hands down of the best experiences in Houston. Located in the four seasons behind a bookshelf it’s a must visit speakeasy. These days they will escort you up to the bar. No food served so eat before. Zach was a great host and made sure all our needs were met on the drinks. That drinks on the menu are well portioned almost 2 drinks in one so order carefully. You won’t go wrong with this place.

This was probably the best speakeasy experience I've had so far. You HAVE TO make reservations. You're escorted to an beautiful intimate bar. Zach, our bartender was such great company, he shared great stories and was so professional. His skill were fantastic. Their drink menu was very unique, but VERY pricey. There was no food, so eat before you go, it's definitely worth the trip.

A very nice speak easy, great if you want to do something different with your friends or parents-date night. The cocktails are all incredible, bartenders all very knowledgeable and love the velvet cosy atmosphere. The only reason I am not giving the 5 stars is because of the limit of 1h45mn there. But it is an awesome experience, so awesome that you do want to stay a little longer.
