I’ve been to this place many times and used to really enjoy their jazz evenings. However their service must considerably improve to get to an acceptable level. Last Wednesday I was charged $33 for a beer (1 beer!!) because of their lack of organization with orders.

I love living walking distance from here so much! The programming switches up all the time (check instagram pinned post), and most of it is free. Crowd vibe is relaxed and diverse - old, young, dressed nice, dressed down.

Street parking is usually easy on La Branch just south of Alabama, except for cumbia nights. It’s never worth trying to park in their lot imo.

Love this beer garden. It has drinks for everyone: beer, draft cocktails, normal cocktails, wine, mocktails—whatever fits your mood! If you’re hungry you can grab pizza from Luigi’s which shares the outside area. They also have food pop ups that roll through the various nights. Lounge in hammocks with plenty of sun shade. Also kid friendly!

Very cheap if you drink the beer of the day. Very nice location! However, we were asked for our IDs at least three times despite wearing a wristband.

They don’t sell food. This place is phenomenal! They opened their doors at 10 AM after Hurricane Beryl. Offered a/c, drinks and WiFi. I desperately needed internet access for work and to check my emails and communicate. There was a short line just a few minutes before 10 AM. Axelrad was still kind enough to let us in a few minutes early instead of making us wait until 10 AM sharp. I’ve been to this place maybe once or twice prior to the hurricane but I’ll definitely go more often now and make a conscious effort to support their business when I’m in the neighborhood.

Arrived on a Thursday evening and the crowd was pretty chill. There weren’t any food trucks that night but we ordered pizza next door. Happy hour is until 7pm and the house drinks are only at $5?? It was $7 after that and still pretty affordable.

A chill hangout place with a large selection of craft beers. Self service at the bar and free seating wherever you like.

Axelrad is colorful, decorative, and fun. Good place to bring anyone, more of an adult crown in the evening. Thursday night they have H-Town Hibachi. Margaritas are cheep and tasty. I'll try pizza and some beers next visit.
