My fiancee and I booked a few lessons with Marina and Jordan to help us prepare for the first dance at our wedding. Both instructors made us feel comfortable and did a great job teaching us the basics. We had very positive experiences at Arthur Murray Sugar Land.

The staff here are amazing. I never knew ballroom dancing could be so much fun and so rewarding. What started as a nice date night has turned into four years of joy and fun. I would recommend Arthur Murray Sugar Land to everyone and anyone who ever wanted to Get up and Get down.

Today, December 13th, 2025, is our yearly "Jingle Ball", where we can dance 16 dances with our partners and instructors to get feedback about our progress as dancers. The instructors, all of whom are awesome, have worked hard to help us prepare for this event. I realize how lucky I am to have discovered SLAM. Sugar Land Arthur Murray has become my "Happy Place". I have always loved to dance, but never had the opportunity to take any lessons. A good friend of mine introduced my husband & I to the studio. We were so impressed the first time we went for a lesson, we couldn't wait to go back. The owners, April & Chris, are the best! They want to make the students happy and want them to have good experiences learning to dance. They really care about their students! We really lucked out when we got Crissy for our instructor. Besides being a fabulous dancer and wonderful teacher, she is very kind, patient, and giving. Over four years later, I still can't wait to walk into the studio, otherwise known as my "Happy Place".

I’ve been taking ballroom dance lessons at Arthur Murray Sugar Land dance studio for five years, and it has truly become a joyful part of my life. The instructors are patient, professional, and incredibly skilled at breaking down even the most challenging steps. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and fun. I’ve grown so much in confidence and ability thanks to their teaching. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn, improve, or simply fall in love with dancing.

Update: The newness of this adventure has not worn off as we continue learning how to do more dance moves! We love this place, and we are having so much fun learning to dance. The instructors are the absolute best, and the people there are so friendly. I highly recommend you try it out.

Looking for a place to learn to dance? This is it! My hubby and I started taking lessons a few years ago and it’s been a great experience. We started knowing nothing and have learned so much in a welcoming and fun environment. Instructors are great. Highly recommend.

Not only is the staff knowledgeable, patient and understanding, they are the center of a fun and supportive community. You don’t just take lessons here, you are joining a warm and welcoming society who enjoy dancing. We’re fairly new here, and my husband was quite overwhelmed at first, but now we’re comfortable enough to show up in PJs for the pajama party themed Festival Night.

I would give Arthur Murray Sugar Land a 6 if that's allowed. What not to love? Great owners, talented teachers, friendly and caring atmosphere, and so much fun learning to dance! We started with a trial lesson 3 years ago... Now going to dance becomes one of the best parts of our lives. Dancing is good for the body, mind and spirit. Making so many friends at Arthur Murray is just another cherry on top!

We were introduced to Arthur Murray Sugar Land when a friend invited us to a Roaring 20’s party there in January. It was loads of fun, and owners April and Chris went out of their way to make us feel welcome and have a great time. We started with a trial Groupon lesson package and enjoyed the lessons so much that we purchased more! When you sign up for an individual lesson package, you are invited to attend all sorts of other activities throughout the week including dance parties, group lessons, practice sessions, line dance classes, special events, and more. Even during the Covid shut down, the instructors continued to offer many activities and lessons online so we wouldn’t miss out. Chris and April are wonderful—they are very talented and patient, and they make learning the dances easy and fun. They work with all skill levels. We have met lots of people and developed many new friendships with other couples we have met at the studio. We initially thought we would just take a few lessons to brush up but it’s so much fun we plan to continue dancing! Update May 2023: Three years later we are still dancing with Arthur Murray Sugar Land! We continue to enjoy all the fun activities and events, and we have progressed through several levels of dance, beyond what we had ever imagined. There is still so much to learn so we plan to continue our dance journey. Owners April and Chris Muller never fail to deliver quality instruction, and they make the process fun and creative with countless group classes, special events, parties, and social events. Update: November 2024 We are still dancing! We have learned so much at Arthur Murray and have developed many lasting friendships from the wonderful people who share our love of dance. We are by no means great dancers, but we have progressed through the program and have made great strides expanding our repertoire of dances. Arthur Murray studios offers lessons, group classes, and practice sessions as well as various themed parties and dance outings. Best of all, we are still having fun!

I had some time open in my schedule and I decided to check out this dance studio. I had 5 sessions and learned 4 different dance types! The atmosphere here is so awesome! All the instructors are so kind. Marina was my dedicated instructor and she was so sweet and patient! She greeted me each day with the brightest smile! My fav was the dance parties where you get to practice what you learn with other people! It was so cool! You should check them out!
