Misery was outstanding. Front row is awesome. Small, intimate theater with a little bar area.

This is the quintessential spot to experience theatre in Houston and beyond. The productions are top notch, the actors are world renowned and the spaces are designed perfectly to enjoy the show with amazing acoustics. It is always a pleasure to enjoy a performance at thr Alley. The venue has quite the history (read about it on their www). Definitely recommend attending one of the wonderful works here.

I had a wonderful experience at the Alley Theatre. It’s truly known for its talented actors, high production value, and intimate atmosphere, and my visit absolutely lived up to that reputation. The Christmas decorations added a warm, festive touch, making the whole place feel even more inviting.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my visit. I especially loved the play A Christmas Carol—the performances were engaging, and the production was beautifully done.
Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I would highly recommend the Alley Theatre to anyone looking for a top-quality theatre experience.

Wonderful performance of A Christmas Carol. Best I've ever seen! I brought the kids and everyone enjoyed it. This was part of their homeschool group offerings. So glad they offer opportunities like this for homeschoolers. The theater and staff were all great. Easy to find parking and the homseschooler entrance. They even had a question session after the show for the kids. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to going again.

I parked in the Alley Theater Garage and made my way down to the ground floor via the elevator, I ran into Whitney, from Operations for the Alley Theater. She told me all about the theater and showed me around, made me feel like a VIP!

I went back stage, I went main stage, saw the smaller stage with an active 'reading' going on, it was a sight to see. I have a curious mind and love exploring, Whitney made me feel like I belonged. There's a whole gigantic hidden world underneath the theater stages.

I loved every second of it, she even gave me a free water unasked, that was very nice of her. I loved the impromptu tour of Alley Theater, perhaps someday I will make my way back here to see a show. A lot of work goes into the shows, so many moving parts and people involved. Thank you Whitney! You have a wonderful upbeat positive personality, perfect for theater. I wish Whitney and the theater the best, I'm glad she showed me around, and glad I took a random chance and stopped to ask her questions.

It always surprises me the places I end up seeing just by taking a chance and talking to people I don't know. It was awesome.

We attended A Christmas Carol at the Alley. This was my husband's first time, but my second. It was Christmas time and the Libby was decorated and full of Christmas trees. Each tree was unique.
The production was delightful! The cast is very talented. We had so much fun. I don't think that there is a bad seat in the house. The way that the seating is situated everyone gets a good view. You can Google the seat locations and get a review of each seat location! We sat off center, about half way up, stage right and had a great view.
If you haven't seen this production or haven't been to the theater, this is a great place to start. The theater staff is friendly and so helpful!
Plan to go, it's a wonderful experience.

Alley Thestre's presentation of "A Christmas Carol" is a must-see, if you have not seen this yet you must go see it. I highly recommend it, the acting was spectacular, the scenery and props were amazing, a wonderful performance, a wonderful experience.

The decor was gorgeous, and the performance was amazing. This was our first time attending, so it was overall a very nice experience. Given the stage, the seats 101-105 did place a strain on taking in the entire performance, but their talent surpassed it.

We saw the "Night Shift Before Christmas." The actress was great, and the theater itself was nice. The bummer was the price of the digital tickets with the " junk fee of $5 per ticket and the forced donation. . . $1 minimum. Then there is the $15 for parking. It is completely unnecessary to fine us $5 per ticket. THEN, on the night of the show, 12/27... the digital tickets would not pull up. So , that was a fiasco in itself and had to get in a slow-moving line. I asked the box office rep about the fine and if it can be avoided by purchasing in person. Her reply was "no." I doubt I would let this experience and unnecessary junk FINE keep us away, but we are not going to return anytime soon.

Not priced for veterans or the working class.

We’ve been going here for years to watch A Christmas Carol. We like the facility and the way they dress it up for the Christmas season.

The security staff and ushers have been kind and helpful.

I love going to this theater. We just got done watching A Christmas Carol. The acting was amazing, but the script could use some help. There was too much narration. I prefer the previous version that was done before the pandemic.

We stopped in to see Agatha Christi's And then there were none. It was a great performance all the way through. The theater itself is spacious and has 3 separate bars to help get everyone topped off at intermission, which I still think 15mins is a bit too quick. The staff were courteous, some were disturbingly odd but its theater and still they were helpful.
