We went to celebrate my anniversary and we love everything about the restaurant. The drinks were amazing, the service exceeded expectations: Thank you Mrs. Duliana. She had a broad knowledge of every plate in detail in the menu and all her recommendations based on what we liked were just delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Everything is so neat, so beautiful. We love Mexican culture and food and we definitely felt we were back in Mexico.

Where to begin! Upon arrival, I was greeted by a happy staff. Seated within 30 seconds. Drinks, and menu offers great selection of authentic Mexican cuisine and drinks. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered some excellent recommendations. My husband and me, we felt welcomed and every item ordered, it felt like a christmas present as we were overwhelmed by the presentation and also, as the excellent authentic mexican flavors. We highly recommend everyone to visit.

I’ve been to Xalisko with friends and family twice. The service is a bit slow from the jump. Took longer than expected both times I’ve gone to get our initial server to take drink orders. Once the service starts they check on you somewhat regularly. I’ve enjoyed every menu item we’ve ordered including the ostiones frescos,trompito al pastor, tamal de elote, tacos de birria, bone marrow and aguachile de ribeye. All were really good. My favorites were the tacos de birria and trompito al pastor. The mezcalita was the favorite drink by far. Not terribly strong though. All of the drinks were good but not strong enough for the price points in my opinion. The presentation and quality of the food is exceptional. Really enjoyed everything from the appetizers to mains to desserts. I had the eggnog tres leches and the flan and both were really great! I think they could use more servers it seems they’ve given huge sections which takes more time than usual to touch on tables. Everyone I had brought to share food with has really enjoyed it. I look forward to exploring the menu a bit more and appreciate the seasonal menu items. Plenty of parking and relatively easy to get in and out of. They have live music performed on Sundays usually.

This authentic Mexican restaurant may finally break the curse of a string of rotating restaurants at this location. The food and even reading the menu may need to be more authentic for some; I spent a good bit of time examining the menu. Don't expect a typical Tex-Mex experience; this is the real deal. The restaurant is sometimes an odd mixture of formal and casual, most oddly, with laminated menus that don't fit the quality (and price) of the food and restaurant. The food is traditional, in pretty small portions, and at elevated prices, but it was still filling and enjoyable despite the size. The restaurant itself is hardly recognizable from its previous tenants; they transformed this space to fit with the authentic nature of the food. The vibe is mellow and relaxed; you will be fine in a t-shirt or shorts, and the bar has TVs showing sports broadcasts. The staff fits the authenticity of the food; they aren't just serving it; this is their food, and they know it well. The staff makes navigating the menu more accessible. The price may be high compared to Tex-Mex alternatives; this is a premium restaurant despite the casual customers. This restaurant is extremely well done; the real question you have to ask yourself is if you want an authentic experience. I enjoyed it, but I love Tex-Mex.
