12 ways of Christmas was so good! The singing was great. The show itself is maybe 30 mins too long, but it was still a great show. However, hear me and hear me good to all ensemble theatre goers: DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FOR ROW X. This was the worst seating that I could have ever experienced at a theatre. There are not stationary chairs that are apart of the theatre. This row’s chairs are similar to regular dining chairs. Imagine sitting there for 2 1/2 hours. My tailbone was in so much pain and so was my husband’s tailbone. If the singing and stage production wasn’t as good as it was, this probably would’ve completely tarnished the experience for me. This row also costs the exact same as the other chairs, which I felt was not worth it at all. We were talking about leaving during intermission due to the annoyance with the chairs. I’d say if you go, you can enjoy yourself ONLY if you sit in the rows that belong to the theatre. If you see row X is only available, DO NOT PURCHASE. Lol please just go to a different showing. It will undoubtedly ruin your experience.

Note to The Ensemble Theatre owners: please do not add chairs to the theatre unless they provide comfort designed to be sat in for a lengthy period of time. Those chairs are designed to sit and eat in but not to sit in for longer than 20 mins. Oh, consider pricing those tickets at a reduced rate to prevent resentment towards the theatre. It can really ruin a first time goer’s experience.

Awesome play Maya Angelo. The Elite Seniors Ministry of the House of Hope Church, Texas had a grand time. Some it was their first time and was truly amazed at the writers actors and the venue. God Blessings!!

Have attended 3 shows in the last 6 months! Comedy, musical, and mystery! Each one out did the other!! Love the Ensemble Theatre!

Went to see the Piano Lesson and it was very well done. The actors had me in stitches the whole time. If you get a chance I would suggest that you go and see it.

First time in years visiting the Ensemble Theater.... and I must say it still exudes EXCELLENCE when you walk through the doors. I went to see A Motown Christmas and it was more than Great!!! The cast directed and choreographed by The Aisha Ussery was so good, from their singing to their captivating portraying of the Motown Greats!! The two young ladies in the play STOLE the show!! I definitely will be back!!
