Beautiful venue for all kinds of performances in the heart of 5th Ward. The staff is amazing and made everyone feel right at home!

Greetings and Welcome to October. I recently attended the Houston Black Theater Week Awards, and I also presented an award. What a great theater. The staff was warm, friendly smiles smiles. I felt right at home that I plan to visit more throughout the 2024 2025 season. Check out this 5th Ward treasure ASAP.

Been both as a patron and a renter. The location is central, there's plenty of parking, and the staff are more than helpful. Also, all events have security so you feel pretty secure.

This theater is awesome. Parking is just around the corner. The a have a marquee that we used. It was perfect for our event

1st time here.

Went to see Althea Rene perform.

She and the band were great!

Buying tickets was a breeze.

I'm looking forward to checking out future performances!

Went to see a production of R.U.R., and I thought this little theater was amazing. It was small but mighty, with maybe 50 seats total. There's a neat little lobby with a small ticket counter and small but tidy restrooms off to either side of the lobby. Entrance to the theater is flat, and there are places carved out of the seating area to allow for wheelchair users to watch the stage as well. The seats are comfortable with an okay but not great amount of leg room.

The parking situation was not immediately clear from in front of the theater, but our tickets to the show had directions to the lot behind the theater.

All in all, I had an excellent time there, and I'm going to keep an eye out for future shows there. I'd definitely like to go back.
