Went here last night for the first time. We were a rowdy party of 8. Our server, Jose was beyond amazing. With 4 different tabs going, people just blaring out what they wanted, he didn’t even write anything down. He was very attentive to my garlic allergy as well! The food came out so fast! All of the checks came with no errors. Will definitely be back!

Everything we got was absolutely amazing and the vibe is great!! Lamb comps are amazing! Michael was our server and he was wonderful and very attentive!

The food was great. Tons of options, even for those with dietary restrictions. It’s not cheap, but then again, what is nowadays? Here, without question, you get your value. Generous portions sizes and lots of bang for your buck.

Michael was a very helpful server. Just the right level of checking in and helpfulness, but not overbearing. This is an ideal spot for an intimate meal, craft drinks and desserts, or a combination of both.

Went here for lunch and ordered a few apps after running a bunch of errands. Everything was honestly amazing. The menu is very health conscious. Most of the carbs are replaced with cauliflower or spaghetti squash, and tortillas are made with almond flour. We ate a good amount and didn’t feel stuffed. The aesthetic is very cute with real candles on the table and great cocktails. A great place for lunch with the girls, client meet-up, or date day.

Our food was amazing! Everything came out very quickly! It was a great atmosphere! We had a wonderful waitress named Adriana! She was so attentive and gave us great recommendations! Such a unique place! The chef/owner even stopped by our table to make sure everything was just right!! Highly reccomend!

Our dinner was great all the way around. The food, service and ambience was a memorable experience. So much so, on our return trip to the area (four days later), we made reservations for lunch. And the Chef/Owner is incredibly nice.

Great presentation and flavor on the smoked scallops. My wife loved the pistachio crusted snapper. Wonderfully crafted cocktails. Whatever you do, arrive starving or be prepared to take food home, because you must allow for their over the top dessert tray😋😋😋. They let me check the tray weight (the wait staff definitely has to be in shape to present it to guests). Whenever in Houston, Ruggles Black will always be AT THE TOP of our dining card.
