Cozy little neighborhood Italian restaurant and bar. Was very busy. Great wine selection. Lize music Saturday night. Cool place if you are nearby. Drinks are on the pricey side, might be better off with a bottle of wine.

Great little Italian restaurant. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was the biggest chicken piece I had ever seen! Great value there. Also this was the only place I have gone to in the states that has frengelico liquor which goes amazingly in their espresso martini! Overall great place.

Have been coming here for ages. The food is great. Down a star because they took away the house salad. It’s made from components on hand… why take it away? (Edit after owner response... for a *$8* house salad... again, why take it away? I know how much we spend, you can't be hurting *that* badly. The dressing alone has spurred many visits to your restaurant over the past 4 years.)

Very pleased with food, service and atmosphere. Place kind of hidden in a plaza corner. Live music was there and the bar just in the right place at restaurant entrance. Food was cooked to perfection. The Tiramisu by chef Mario was best I ever had…DONT CHANGE A THING on it. Our server Linsie was great! Will come back again.

Made a reservation for Friday night, outside. We got there and decided we wanted to eat inside and were accommodated right away. We went to another Italian restaurant the night before. We had the pizza there, and it was really good.

The kids are away so we went out again the next night and chose Mezzanotte Ristorante. I read the reviews and love that the owner responds to most of the reviews, good or bad.

I liked the Pumpkin Ravioli as the appetizer, but the wife did not care for it. We've never had it and now we know. The bread and oil was really, really good, much better that the other place we went the night before.

I had the lasagna and the wife had the lamb chops. Amazing!!! We both loved our dishes. My wife ordered the pistachio mint sauce on the side because she didn't know if she would like it. Afterwards she said she should have just taken the sauce as prepared; It was that good.

Next time I'm going to save room for desert.

If you're looking for a cozy and intimate place to have a date night or celebrate a special day, try Mezzanotte Ristorante. This is a hidden gem in the Cypress area. My partner and I have never been disappointed with their food and service.

Been wanting to visit this place for a while now and the wife and I chose it for our recent date night. And we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! We had the baby lamb chops appetizer, the caprese salad and for the main courses, the flat iron gorgonzola steak and ossobuco veal shank with risotto. Paired with the Malbec it made for a superb date night! Our waitress Karim was awesome! She prepared our bananas foster dessert right at the table and is was delicious! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure! Only negative I can share is it was a little dark at our table. We saw some tables had lamps and wished we had asked for one. This place is a hidden gem tucked back in the corner of the plaza!
