The blue crab bruschetta and rigatoni vodka pasta are soooo good! I love to go here with friends and enjoy the piano and live music. Agustin is such an attentive server and has great recommendations! Happy hour here is also great.

Went for happy hour. Nice place. Attentive service. It's in the Montrose collective, so you know it's going to be overpriced and likely good service. Possibly more about the scene than the food.

HH Cocktails $8, "with choice of mixer." Not bad for a fancy place right? Fine print under the item...If served up or on the rocks, extra charge. So the gin and tonic is $8, but the ice or the shake costs extra. Really, not joking. I actually asked as I'd never seen something so ridiculous on a drink menu. The person who came up with that should be moved out of a customer facing job. So the drinks are $9. Still not awful for a fancy place. And the pour was nice. Solid drinks. Bad semantics.

The good: Caesar salad fantastic. Creamy, anchovy shines thru, right amount of dressing, with crumbled yolk and shaved parm and a thinly cut, very crispy large crouton. One of the best Caesars I've had. Bolognese really good. Creamy, not broth-based like the real thing, but still a very well-crafted and complex sauce. Rigatoni with vodka excellent. The actual pasta on both pasta dishes was really good. PEI oysters were great. Especially for $2.

The bad: Meatballs meh. Beef tartar tasteless. Meh is too flattering. Seemed like good ingredients, just had no taste.

I would avoid at full price. Worth a try for happy hour, which was $120 for 2, incl 2 drinks each, and tip. Stick with salad and pastas.

Beautiful restaurant with nice atmosphere. Wait staff was excellent. Food portions were small for the price. Not a good value for what you get. The gnocchi was delicious. The polenta did not have any flavor. I had the meatballs as an appetizer and they tasted great however one was slightly undercooked. My sister had the squid ink campanelle and she said it was very delicious. Overall I would come back to try other things on the menu.

My fiance and I went to Marmo to enjoy some oysters and cocktails before seeing Wicked at the movies.. and we ended up ordering lunch too! We were blown away by the food. Our waiter, Christian was the BOMB and gave us suggestions that turned into the perfect meal. We will definitely be back.

Michael was amazing and gave the best service I could ask for. He greeted us with a smile and then walked us through the menu and we got the squid ink pasta. He gave us complimentary drinks to try and then checked on us the whole way through. I’ll be back again for sure. For the food but especially for Michael. Thanks so much for checking on us as well Mark. You run a great shop!

I feel like any restaurant in the Montrose collective has a nice ambience to it. Service was really great, food was hit or miss. Really enjoyed the meatballs actually, but pasta and calamari fell a little short. Tiramisu was fantastic. 4 stars overall, 3 for food. Take it as you will.

1st visit here, very impressive location. The restaurant is very sophisticated and clean, well lighting and has a great ambiance, has nice seating options for a variety of party sizes, with outdoor seating and live music. The bar is a good size and comfortably seats people away from the dining area and live piano music.
Ordered the Chicken Parmagian and meatballs, which were cooked perfectly.
The sidecar martini was made well. The service was great, and manament made sure they touched the tables for service follow-up. Cocktails are a little pricey but well made.
I definitely recommend this location for service and dining in a classy setting.

Went here for our anniversary. We had a reservation for 2 outside but when we got there we changed it to inside and they accommodated…only after waiting about 5 minutes at the host(ess) stand waiting to be acknowledged, it seemed like the original hostess stepped away and no one knew or something.

After finally sitting down, it was a nice atmosphere, with a mix of live and recorded music playing. The decor was pretty cool. The food was really good, but unfortunately two menu items and a wine we were trying to order were not available. So when we ordered another wine the waiter mixed up what we wanted which was an alternative red wine and brought out a white wine. After the confusion got resolved the rest of the night went smoothly. Good food, the wagyu steak I ordered was off the menu but could have used a touch more salt. While we were waiting for the food to come out, which took awhile, they brought us a tuna cannoli appetizer to stave us over. Overall a good night but, with the money we spent, not a 5 star experience.

Marmo offers a great dining experience. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, ideal for a night out. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, which made a big difference. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and the steak was cooked just right—tender and full of rich taste.

The desserts were a nice way to end the meal, with a good variety of options that didn’t disappoint. Each dish was well-prepared and thoughtfully presented, showing a real attention to detail. If you’re looking for a quality spot in Houston, Marmo is worth visiting. We’ll likely return, as it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression without trying too hard.
