    What makes it fun

Maison Pucha Bistro knows the recipe for romance! This French-Ecuadorian gem, owned by the Pucha brothers, blends culinary tradition with a modern twist, creating the ultimate setting for a delicious date. The menu is a delightful mix of French classics like duck confit and innovative dishes inspired by Ecuadorian flavors like the Wagyu Beef Empanadas. Don’t miss the exquisite desserts and a wine list both of which will sweep you off your feet.

My husband and I recently celebrated a birthday at Maison Pucha Bistro, and it was perfect from start to finish. We began with cocktails and shared the shrimp and octopus ceviche—both incredibly fresh and full of flavor. For mains, we had the trout almondine and Ecuadorian llapingachos, which were simply outstanding.

The highlight, though, was the soufflé made with organic Ecuadorian chocolate, the best we’ve ever tasted—rich, airy, and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, with every server attentive to our needs, and a special thank you to Cristian, one of the owners, for his warm hospitality. Maison Pucha Bistro is truly a standout, offering fantastic food, drinks, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The new specials definitely brought me and my friends in on a Friday afternoon. We ordered a cheese board and were able to get a free bottle of wine (limited selection: one white or red or a rosé) and got the wagyu empanadas and a variety of entrees. My friend loved her mussels. Service was attentive and it was a quiet setting. I'll be back to try more meal options and happy hour specials.

Oh my goodness! I officially cannot wait to come back!

I came during Houston Restaurant Weeks and as soon as we walked in I knew it would be a good experience. The place is beautiful! Very elegant for sure and service was really good as well.

I started off with the Ecuadorian Shrimp Ceviche: Ecuadorian shrimp, onion, pepper, cilantro, tomato, garlic, leche de tigre and plantain chips.

Then I had the most delicious Classic Egg Benedict: English muffin, 2 poached eggs, Canadian bacon, spinach, roasted potatoes, vegetables and hollandaise sauce.

To top it all off, the CrĂŞpe A L'Orange which was the best I have ever had!

If you have a chance to check this place out, DO IT!!!

Went here last night. Starting off, it’s a mandatory paid valet or find parking elsewhere. Not a fan of this. Our waiter was really good. Appetizers (steak tartare and ceviche) were delicious. Drinks were also quite good. Entrees were pretty salty. Edible but salty (we had the steak frites, escargots, and French onion soup). Decent restaurant. Some tweaking of the seasoning would help. Also at a French restaurant, was pretty disappointed that the staff can’t even speak French. Attempted to have a conversation in French and it was definitely not getting across.

Great brunch experience during restaurant week. Loved all the options. I especially appreciated the artistic presentation of the delicious dishes. Will have to return to try more options.
