Went for Sunday brunch. Amazing! Had fish tamales, easily the single best food item I have ever eaten. Great service, exceptional assistant manager.

Extremely well thought out recipes with precision to detail. It was exquisite food with a variety of authentic Mexican flavors that excited my pallet. Definitely 5 stars. Only constructive feed back is 5 dollar for a small can of Diet Coke is way to excessive and should be bottomless refills. Sodas should be offered bottomless and I did not have that option. But great overall.

My husband and I are from the Washington DC area and are big foodies. Our first time at Hugos did not disappoint. We were greeted at the door with friendly faces and the atmosphere was lively with holiday parties. Our server Adrianna was delighted and had the best laugh ever. Her suggestions were spot on. The margaritas were delicious as well as our apps of octopus and red snapper cerviche ( the chips were served warm and so fresh!). The chef was kind enough to give us a half portion of the oxtail soup (amazing!!), and we split the special entree of Chilean sea bass with lobster and crab! ! We ended the meal with the tres leches which my husband thoroughly enjoyed! The perfect meal with the best service! Thanks for such a wonderful dinner and dining experience!

Noise--bubbly? No complaints about the food. Good Mocktail Mohito. Nice variety on menu. The guacamole is very good.

We had an amazing evening! We had many co-workers in from out of town and they did an amazing job serving our large group of 12. They were super accommodating and provide separate checks, since many of us needed to file for reimbursement. I had the waiter choose my meal for me and he chose the fish- it was delicious... especially with the margarita. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic lunch at Hugo’s. We went as a party of 3 for happy hour. They had great vegetarian and vegan options, as well as lots for the meat-eaters in our group. The Tamal’s were a stand out for me.

I can also highly recommend their drinks, we tried the Sangria, the Paloma and the Hugo Rita. All were delicious.

Hugo’s has a great atmosphere and honestly the best service I’ve experienced. I will definitely go back the next time I’m in Houston and I highly recommend it.

My first experience to Hugo’s was on a Sunday. I loved everything about it. The decoration, the food, the staff, and the music all around amazing. From what I understand, Sundays the food options are buffet styled, you get a taste of everything and it’s all tasty! You serve yourself from items laid out on a long table in the center of the restaurant, dessert table also available. Although it’s a buffet the staff was attentive during our time there.

Parking was valet, with some side parking available on the street. A lot of places in Montrose have similar parking arrangements so that wasn’t a surprise. This was more so for those who aren’t too familiar with the area it’s just a heads up if you get a chance to visit. Definitely recommend!

fantastic food and top notch service. Rachel took excellent care of us, and Guillermo the manager also stopped by our table to check on us. He even came back with some complimentary house made hot chocolate. Wonderful vegan options and they were even considerate about putting the cheese on the side with our guac, salsa, and chips app.
