Is there anything better than a day at the Museum with your newborn?

The staff was so friendly, from the moment I purchased my tickets to when we walked around the museum.

I wish I could give 10 stars! This was the best art experience I've ever had. If you're looking for inspiration and unforgettable impressions, this is the perfect museum for that. Even the food served in the cafe feels like art. I will definitely return!"

The venue is truly impressive in size and scale. The unique layout, connecting four buildings through underground corridors, was both fascinating and enjoyable to explore. Strolling through the yellow-lit passageway and the rainbow tunnel felt almost magical.

That said, managing your time is important since there are so many exhibits to see. Parking was easy during my first visit, but the fees were noticeably high.

While the art collection is extensive, I didn’t find many of the pieces particularly engaging. I was especially disappointed by the limited displays of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works—I had hoped for a larger selection.

Wow! You cannot visit Houston without coming here. I spent two days exploring the museum. The exhibits and curated storytelling is world class. Coming here was the highlight of my trip and I will def be back here with my kids!

One of my favorite places to visit in Houston. A wide selection of gifts at the gift shop for everyone you know. You can get lost in this building for hours. Sometimes I also go check out the films in the Brown theater. Everyone should go visit this museum at least once while in Houston. Lovely infrastructure!

I went on another Thursday and to my surprise, learned that it was free to enter the museum on Thursdays. It was my first day in Houston and I really enjoyed the varied collection. I wish I would have seen more from the Middle East., specifically Babylon or Chaldea, but nonetheless, I was very impressed with this collection. Unfortunately, modern day sayings got me laughing at the title of the pilgrim mourning his “dead ass”. Overall, I would definitely recommend this museum. Lots of space and lots of various styles to explore.
