1st time visiting…I called the day before my birthday celebration and made reservations for a party of 6 and one of the hostesses at the hostess stand (forgot her name) who took my call, recognized my name/voice and greeted us very nicely. I already felt this was going to be a good birthday celebration experience. 😊 We were lead to our table in less than 5 minutes by the hostess.Everyone enjoyed their meal and stated all foods were seasoned well and freshly prepared once brought to the table. The fried chicken dinner pictured, was superb and was very crunchy like I desired. The mashed potatoes with jalapeño gravy was outstanding and the Brussel sprouts were delicious with a hint of sweetness (never eaten like that before).One of my daughters raved about the macaroni and cheese, which I will order on my next visit. My husband saw pork chops plated to be served on our way out, which he wants to order upon return. 😊The noise level was medium-high with an almost full capacity.I will be returning for the brunch menu as well.

Enjoyed dining here in the closed off bar area. Companions loved the chicken pot pie. Short ribs were good but maybe slightly overcooked. Drinks and ambiance were excellent.

We had an office luncheon today celebrating our December birthdays and everything was fabulous! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.

Another wonderful experience on the books at this lovely establishment. I decided to patronize Grace's on my birthday and got the kale salad, which doesn't disappoint. My friend got the stuffed chicken, which is a popular option.The restaurant was not busy, and we were seated quickly. The ambiance and the environment was posh and pleasant with light conversation abuzz.The waiter, although very nice, had some challenges through the experience; however, he worked to resolve them. I think he was new and I wanted to show some grace to him (see what I did there? 🙃).Overall, the experience was consistent, positive, and warm. The fireplace was lit and it was such a nice touch. I plan to go back very soon as this restaurant is a staple for me and friends.

Excellent service from the time we walked in the door! Food was excellent...I don't have one complaint about this place!! IT IS A MUST GO TO RESTAURANT!! I was with a party of five coworkers, we didn't wait long and our food didn't take long, and our glasses were never empty! Alan and Bernardo were great!! We did not want for anything! We didn't have to pay for having a party of five, nor did we have to pay all the extra fees restaurants have these days! This would be a great date night vibe!! I almost forgot, they give you skillet cornbread for an appetizer, and it was delicious! I ordered the cajun stuffed chicken breast with mac and cheese and collard greens. You also get a choice of soup, salad, or gumbo...I chose gumbo, and it was good as well.Also, pictured is my coworkers baked potato dip and chips...it was okay, different chips would make it better in my opinion. 😋❤️

The service was attentive and friendly, with the staff making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. My only gripe was the wait time, which was a bit longer than expected, but the quality of the food made up for it.Overall, I had a delightful evening and would definitely recommend Grace's to anyone looking for a great meal in a warm setting. Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome, awesome, awesome... this spot is superb. From the staff, to the food, everything was great. When I tell you that jalapeño cornbread is where it's at, you better get you some. I mean the best but don't take my word, give them a visit. I was happy to have visited during Houston food week, I was able to try many options at a decent price. But I'll definitely be back for more.

Went here after visiting the museum and Googling nearby restaurants, so glad we did. It was like dining in someone's elegant home. So warm and relaxed with home cooked quality food. The staff were totally charming and they couldn't do enough for us. We had steak, crab, short rib, burgers and bowls of veg to share. Cornbread in a sweet little skillet was so good. Lots of local families enjoying special occasions which added to the beautiful atmosphere. Loved it.
