We had dinner here for the first time and all four of us were very pleased with the flavor and presentation . All voted the tortilla soup as one the best if not the best. The entrees and deserts were outstanding. The ambiance is lovely and even as full as it was we could hear each other talk. Emme our server was attentive and gave us just enough time. Will recommend and return..

Food was great but the portions were super small for the price point so that was a little disappointing. Imagine leaving and still being hungry after paying over $100 for a meal for 2. The views were amazing and beautiful establishment with a great staff. It was my first time here but decided to try it for my birthday.

Overpriced mexican food, no different in taste from your local Mexican restaurants. The only difference is that it is served in a nicer plate. It's a nice spot to take some good pictures. I'll give them that.

On a weekday weahd no problem getting a last minute reservation. It didn't look crowded at all. Pulled up and got seated outside on the balcony. Our server was really friendly and awesome.
The drinks were good but the highlights were definitely the shrimp dishes and the burrata salad thing! Yummm.

What a fun evening meal. Thanks!

Excellent dining experience! My wife picked Flora for a date night and we had such a great evening. Alvaro, our server had some great recommendations for us and his service was top notch. The Viejo Fashioned and Flora Margarita were both very good. The food was excellent and definitely all scratch made. Definitely coming back soon with friends!

Taste of Mexico Done Right

Stepping into Flora felt like being transported to a beautiful treetop restaurant with glass walls and views of Buffalo Bayou and surrounding park. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing, with decor that seamlessly blended modern elegance with old world charm.

The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish we tried showcased the freshest organic ingredients from the zesty lime-kissed El Trio Ceviche to the perfectly prepared yellowfin tuna bursting with flavor. The guacamole was a standout—made tableside and seasoned to perfection.

The service matched the quality of the cuisine. Our server Andrea was attentive without being intrusive, offering expert recommendations and ensuring our experience was flawless from start to finish.

Whether you’re craving authentic flavors or simply want a delightful dining experience, Flora is a must-visit. Coastal Mexican cuisine doesn’t get better than this!

Beautiful restaurant in the park. Entrance is very confusing to find. Margaritas were strong. Queso and salsa were small portions for the price tag. Food was tasty just small portions for price point. They didn’t do anything for our birthday girl. Waters were constantly refilled. Great ambiance for date night. $9 valet, they take credit card. Was hard to find free parking

It was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. We visited to celebrate my wife's birthday and she was very pleased. The meal was excellent, smoked oysters appetizer to the finale of Tres leches cake. The bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful , especially bartender Chris. He was very knowledgeable about the tequila selection and made great drinks. To be honest , we spent over three hours at the restaurants because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Hats off to the entire staff and management.
