Dining at Drake's Hollywood restaurant tonight for our anniversary was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was both inviting and elegant, setting the perfect tone for our celebration. Our waiter, Charles, was an absolute delight--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. He made us feel so welcome and ensured every detail of our meal was flawless.
We started with the cocktails: the espresso martini was smooth and perfectly balanced, while the old fashioned had just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Both were expertly crafted and set a high bar for the rest of the evening.
The snow crab scampi was a standout--a delicate and flavorful dish that paired beautifully with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and generously dressed. For the main course, we opted for the Delmonico steak, and it was exceptional--juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The loaded mashed potatoes were the perfect complement, creamy and rich with just the right amount of decadence.
