Discovery green is always amazing! I have been taking my boys since I moved to Houston 6 years ago. It's family-friendly fun for free.💕 If you are in the area, check it out! During the summer, they turn on a little water playground that's amazing for all ages. It's prt friendly, get area to just have a little picnic, and it has public restrooms as well as a family restroom. It's just great to walk around and enjoy family.

We had such a great time at Discovery Green. The kiddos enjoyed themselves. The park is free to enjoy. There are places the shop and eat nearby. This is a very inexpensive outing for families where kids can have fun and wear themselves out. Next time, we will bring lots of cardboard to slide down the hill with.

"This city park in the middle of downtown Houston is a wonderful green space right in the heart of the city. It's the perfect spot to escape the urban hustle and enjoy some fresh air. The park is beautifully maintained, with plenty of trees, walking paths, and seating areas to relax. It's a great place for a quick walk, a peaceful break, or even a picnic with friends. The blend of nature and city vibes makes this park a real gem in downtown Houston, offering a nice retreat from the busy streets around it."

I absolutely loved this area. I was excited to see so many people using this area for different things. From gathering for Thursday night live music to a dog park, kids playing on the playground and others looking at either the art or the gardens, this was a place for everyone. I want an area like this back home. If you are in down town Houston you have to come check this amazing treasure out.
