Food:
I ordered Curry Lamb Burger and it came with a side of fries. I think the lamb could’ve been cooked a tad bit longer and I didn’t taste the curry but the fries were cooked to perfection. I also ordered a Tamarindo which was beyond delicioso!!! I’m not a big eater so as usual, I have more than half of my food leftover. I have 1/4 of my burger for dinner and the other half and fries for lunch tomorrow. And here I thought I was going to order something to take home, lol. I have more than enough!!!
Service:
My waitress Shaila is a cutie with such a kind and sweet demeanor. I felt as if she read my mind and knew exactly where to seat me. Because of my back surgery, pain, etc., I’m very particular about where I can and cannot sit; certain types of chairs, etc. She was spot on without me saying a word. Shaila is mild mannered, respectful of “space” (I was working and she didn’t keep coming back and forth). She approached me when it was necessary and her timing was always perfect.
I asked a question to one of the gentleman that cleans the table and he was extremely helpful. I’m always drawn to people from my country or a neighboring country. I’m able to identify them immediately and I knew he was from Guatemala and a “Chapin”. Of course, they’re always astonished when I approach them due to my apparent melanin and the pride that I carry. Several staff members came near my table a couple of times when he and I were speaking but no one said anything. Why was this the case? Could it be because his English is limited? Maybe because they thought I didn’t speak Spanish? I don’t know but someone was coming to someone’s rescue? 🤷🏽♀️ 😂 Anyway, we had a nice conversation.
So…I was about to comment about the manager not coming by to ask how was the food and service and all of a sudden, HE CAME BY to ask me how was everything!!!! Lol, he totally busted me and I absolutely LOVED it!!!! 😂🥰😍 YAY!!! I can’t wait to come back WITH my work group!
Atmosphere:
I have been here before but it was to pick up a lunch order for my work team. Now I’m planning to return with them to have an in-person lunch. However, before that I figured I should come alone and have that personal experience before returning with my group in a couple of weeks.
It’s so clean and I absolutely love the vibe. The environment is relaxing and today there are small and large groups as well as people like myself, riding solo. There are all types of seating areas both inside and on the patio.
