The Citadel is the perfect venue for a wedding! Norma, all the coordinators, the chef, and staff did an amazing job on my wedding. It was truly the fairytale wedding I have dreamed about since a little girl. I cannot thank you all enough for making our dreams come true. The guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the food tasted. 10/10!!! 🔥

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. All white marble, and a very clean, large space with multiple rooms that works for various events and party sizes. The staff is extremely helpful at all times. We have worked with The Citadel for several years and I have no issues or complaints. I recommend them any time someone is looking for a beautiful venue that’s close to downtown Houston. I have nothing but positive things to say about The Citadel, and hope to continue working with them for many years to come.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would ! We just got married at the Citadel on September 2,2023 and it was the best decision we made . The place is classically gorgeous so you can purchase as little or as much decorations as you would like and still have a gorgeous wedding . The professionalism of this venue is TOP TIER !! Ema was so responsive to emails , and thought all about the details we overlooked to ensure a seamless day. She bustled my dress , ensured our elderly family members were comfortable, and also kept us on time . I can’t forget to shout out Olivia too who is new to the team . Her coordination was A1 and brought peace and order to what can sometimes feel like the chaos of the day . Also hats off to the chef !! The food was DELICIOUS with guests asking if the venue catered for their private events . The chef worked with us to prepare a Cajun Alfredo chicken pasta and also a baked salmon dish with mash potatoes and sweet chili brussel sprouts . The food is SEASONED !! Bartenders kept lines at a minimum and were friendly and personable . Also valet was complimentary which was helpful to stay out of the Houston heat. Also complimentary were the mimosas and charcuterie boards left in the groom and bride quarters . BOOK NOW !! You will not regret this decision .** the professional photos have not been released yet , therefore these are what others were able to capture .*^
