    What makes it fun

Christia V Adair Park is a hidden gem in Houston perfect for nature-loving lovebirds. Named after civil rights activist Christia V. Adair, this park is a true scenic beauty. You and your sweetheart can wander through tree-lined paths hand-in hand, enjoy a picnic on the lush grass or a convenient picnic table, or relax under the picturesque gazebo. This park is a great spot for a casual date in the beauty of nature.

We had our Family Reunion at Pavillion 2. It was great!! There was enough space to spread out and playground area close by. We had space for the bounce house also. The park staff was great when they came by to check us in and empty the trash. Love this park.

Another one of my favorite parks! A bit more private than Sections I & II. Nice nature trail that goes along the creek, gorgeous pavilions, playground, bathrooms and clean porta potty. Lots of green fields, plenty of parking and very well maintained. An uncovered concrete trail as well.

07/2024. This park is underutilized, in my opinion, and well kept. 50% of the walking trails are well shaded so you can visit them on sunny days. There are picnic tables, restrooms and plenty of sitting areas. Mushroom hunting here is fun, though they are probably not edible. There is plenty of small wildlife to enjoy, birds, butterflies, squirrels, someone across the creek has a rooster.
