Went for one aerial hammock class thus far and am very excited for my next class! The atmosphere was so positive and inviting that I knew at the end of my class that this was the right gym for me. 10/10 highly recommend!

I met Cai several years ago, and she has been the best instructor of all time!!! Cai is extremely knowledgeable, skillful, and always personalizes the training depending on her student’s goals.
After i moved back to Houston, I started training at Cai Circus consistently. My strength and flexibility has improved dramatically, and my body is way more balanced.
Cai Circus is also a breathtaking spectacle of talent and skill. This vibrant community not only showcased their high-level abilities, but also created a warm, inviting atmosphere. My experience was truly extraordinary and magical. This place is a gem in the heart of Houston that offers an unforgettable experience.

Cai Circus is a circus training facility and performance arts company by owner and founder, Caiya Velasco. Caiya has trained in classical ballet since the age of 3 and began her circus training at the age of 16 with an emphasis on contortion. She started Cai Circus to help build the circus and performance community in Houston, TX.

It's located inside "Future Stars of Houston," a creative space for children to learn music, dance, instruments, circus arts, and other artistic skillsets. Cai Circus collaborates with Future Stars of Houston for their circus arts portion for children. However, Cai Circus also offers adult classes in a variety of circus arts such as aerial silks, trapeze, hammock, lyra, rope, contortion, straps, and more.

Getting to this location can be a bit difficult as it's somewhat hidden. You can find it on Google Maps, but it requires driving through a giant lot beside random warehouses and going under two overpasses (Shepherd Drive and Durham Drive). There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces, so you will always have a free place to park.

I started training at Cai Circus in August 2022 solely to improve my flexibility and mobility. I have a background in yoga and calisthenics, and I was wanting to push my body to further levels. After observing the weird aerial apparatuses hanging from the ceiling, I was curious and drawn to explore them all. Here is a list of my favorite classes that Cai Circus currently offers below:

Overall, Cai Circus is an amazing training facility to learn circus arts. Although I only came to stretch, I ended up learning so much more about fitness than I could have ever imagined. I have no desire to perform, but I am very happy that I came across this training facility. Each instructors has different skillsets, and you can learn from them all. I would highly recommend checking out Cai Circus!

I’ve been going to the beginner silks class on Thursdays for a little over a month now and I cannot rave about this place enough. I’ve brought my significant other and my 50 year old mom and anyone else I can’t talk into it! The class is difficult but so much fun and Eddie is an excellent instructor. You can absolutely trust them with your aerial needs and have fun while you do it. I love this place! Come have fun with me 💕
