Me and my girlfriend went to bungalow dining for our fifth anniversary. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees, and our experience was immaculate, from beginning to end service was perfect, it was fast and consistent. The restaurant was introduced to us with clear recommendations the server guided us through the menu and we ended up with choices we were incredibly satisfied by.

If you find yourself here I recommend seeking out Alani, other than being incredibly kind, she was very mindful and informative.

All in all I would recommend anyone in the Houston area interested in a fine dining experience to check out bungalow dining.

Seafood dip as appetizer, fried lobster tail, dynamite shrimp were all good! Get the brussel sprouts as the side. Mezcal spicy margarita is amazing!

I had an amazing experience at Bungalow it was all thanks to Aleria! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome with their warm personality and incredible hospitality. Their cocktail-making skills are top-notch—every drink was perfectly balanced and delicious. They even took the time to recommend a custom drink based on my preferences, and it was spot on!

Beyond the drinks, Aleria kept the energy high and made sure everyone at the bar was having a great time. Their attention to detail and passion for what they do truly set them apart. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out, make sure to grab a seat at their bar—you won’t be disappointed!

A must when coming to Houston! Everything was executed at an elite level for my 40th birthday from the booking of the reservation to us leaving the restaurant! Will definitely be back! 10/10!

The whole experience from start to finish was great. There was a slight delay busy of long stays but the whole staff was friendly about it and guest all seemed to be understanding, Our food was delicious, server was on it and the curly haired female manager was upbeat and observant of the environment our whole visit. I will be back next visit to Houston.

Amazing service and phenomenal tasting food. The best restaurant I went to in Houston hands down.
I do not want to speak down on other establishments, but honestly going to Bungalow was so refreshing after having many bad food/service experiences in other black owned venues.
I would not hesitate to go back, and I am upset that I did not get to visit again before leaving Houston. 5 stars all round

10/10 PERIOD! I love Bungalow Houston. I’ve come multiple times for clients events or special occasions. This night we celebrated my sister‘s birthday. I love the food, ambience, and the service is just top-notch. I’m always greeted by the manager during our experience, which really makes my guest feel special. Bungalow is definitely a place you have to experience over and over. I still need to check out the speakeasy!

From the moment we entered the door until the time we left everything was phenomenal. The manager went over and beyond! The staff was excellent! Our reservation was for 7:30 on Nov 6,2024. The food was great! The lobster Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, whole Snapper and seafood dip was so good! Drinks were great as well!! We definitely will be back!!

I had brunch at Bungalow 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic. The service, food and vibes are great and appear to be top priorities for the restaurant.

We were seated by manager, Alessandro and had Lalo as our sever. Lalo was exceptional and very knowledgeable of the menu.

Food: To get a taste /variety of the menu we shared 4 different dishes:
- fish and grits
- Silva salad
- Jerk wings
- French toast
Everything was well prepared and delicious.

Cocktails: Coffee Culture. This is the Bungalow's take on an espresso martini and one of the best I've ever had.

Overall, Bungalow is a fantastic establishment that is very intentional about the customer experience. If you're looking for a great atmosphere, food and cocktails go to Bungalow and ask for Lalo!

WOW! This experience was overwhelmingly positive. From the greeters, our amazingly beautiful and decorated private room at the Chef’s Table, the food and the service, we were BEYOND impressed. I was there celebrating my birthday with a party of about 15 and it was definitely a night to remember. The food was absolutely delicious with HUGE portions. I believe we had every item on the menu and nothing was a disappointment. Our host, servers and bar tender went above and beyond for everyone and we lacked nothing. I had to share my experience with my husband and he is now planning a date night so he can see for himself, lol.

The restaurant is located on a corner. There is metered parking on the block. You'll need to download the Park Houston app to pay for the metered spaces. We made reservations ahead of our visit. Once we arrived, there was no wait to be seated. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. The hosts and servers were pleasant and professional. The seating was comfortable. The restaurant decor was very nice.

For appetizer, we had Dynamite Shrimp. It came with 4 pieces of shrimp tossed in a lightly sweetened sauce and some corn. We both ordered red snapper fish and grits meals (11am). The fish was fried crispy and seasoned perfectly. The grits were creamy and good. I had chocolate mousse cake. The size was a little disappointing and the flavor was a little odd.

Overall, it was a delicious and worth the visit especially for a date or special occasion.
