The menu changes daily and focuses on using the finest seasonal ingredients to craft Edomae-style sushi and other incredible dishes for guests to enjoy.

LOVE this place! Chef Billy and his staff set the bar so high for omakases. The vibes are there. He makes you feel comfortable by telling his jokes. His playlist goes crazy. This was my second time eating there and I’m now determined to keep going back so that I can get my name carved into a wooden plate. Definitely our go to whenever we’re in town. The flavors and quality of the fish is top tier. The speed of service was perfect, not to fast not too slow. While chef was preparing the next piece of fish, the chefs in the back had food ready in between. After reading some of the 1 star reviews…don’t go there if you’re uptight. I like that Chef Billy likes to joke around and have fun while doing what he loves. Live a little!

5kinokawa is like a fine dining experience, comedy show, and an intimate dinner with friends all rolled into one. Chef Billy had us laughing all night and he explained each course in detail. His serving assistant was awesome too! Everything was absolutely delicious and by the end of the night I was very full, you definitely get what you pay for. I will be recommending this place to so many people! Thank you Chef Billy & June for an amazing birthday dinner!

A great Omakase experience! Chef Billy Kim was entertaining with his dad jokes, and the tastings were delicious. We came into town to visit for a friend’s birthday, and we are grateful for the experience.

Definitely the best omakase in Houston! Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. Chef Billy is not only talented but also hilarious, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Impeccable, from start to finish. One of the finest if not the finest dining experience we’ve ever had. Chef and team are dynamic, artful, and so in tune with each other it’s like watching a live ballet performance.

The plates are enthusiastic and powerful. And suddenly you’re best pals with your fellow patrons…prancing in delight after one of the best meals of your life. Bravo to chef and team. We’ll be back soon.

What a great dining experience with Chef Billy. The food was delicious, the jokes were kind of funny 😁 and the atmosphere was unique with tons of personal touches. My wife and I have been to several chef table restaurants but this one was very memorable with some amazing dishes including wagyu, toro, sea urchin and many more. Highly recommended you check out this unique spot!
